Dear All,
I am new to this forum. I am currently reading Gardens of the Moon and I am loving it! I understand that there is a lot going on behind each scene.
This book is making my head spin with ideas! I thought a forum like this would be the best place to discuss such ideas, and also to help me get things
right when the plot is very complex :-)

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....
