Finally finished FoL! Still trying to decide if I enjoyed it or not...
Spoilers for the book from this point on
I mean for starts I'm not a fan of when authors lead up to something like a battle for ages and then cut to the aftermath (see three whole books of this happening in the Price of Nothing) but SE had hardly set a foot wrong this far so I'm willing to give him a pass, plus he did it well so whatever, I'm over it.
Not really sure what was happening at the end there tbh, but at least we know what happened to Father Light. And Hunn Raal is nearly as hated by me as Mallick Rel so well done for doing that to me again, Steve...
Overall, I'm glad I read it and I'll be getting the final installment in the day it comes out regardless so it's not dampened my love for all things Malazan regardless of how awkward it was at times.
Still kept thinking QB would show up at some point...

Could well be wrong, but I seem to remember a comment in the FoD board that QB is there, we just don't recognise him (can't remember if it was a reference from SE though, someone will no doubt know!)
