Not important per se. It was the switch that annoyed me. Not a knock against you; I'd have been similarly annoyed with anyone else's name.
Origin story is easy: I'm a dog person. I wanted Bent but it was taken as was Roach. I didn't want one of the Hounds. Then I remembered Karsa's dog.
