Malazan Empire: azaths, again - Malazan Empire

if this has been discussed tell me, but on searching azath i got so many topics i could't search them all

rallick sits on the azath to stop it growing coz of the otataral dust he has on him. But both azath houses and otataral are anathema to sorcery, so i dont get why otataral would blunt the effect of the azath.
