The way you were pushing it I knew it was a safe lynch, I just didn't see the need to rush when no other alternatives were being thrown up anyway. In the meantime I kept throwing out doubts about KF too.

I freaked out after Tatts invited a find, and we didn't have majority yet. My case on Shadow was all kinds of flimsy, and if lynch turned that day, we'd be up shit creek. That's why I really wanted Shadow speed-lynched.

I basically felt that once we had majority, I could steer us through. So in a sense, lynching Shadow was D-day

The "no reveals" and "faction game" label can push up it to 7, just because there's so much more extra mindfuckery with players on thread inventing mechanics and imagining the worst.

quick thought on balance:
I thought it was fine. Only thing I might change is make Willow and Xander become like Giles (know Buffy, die when recruited) if Buffy found them, and make them aware of this conditional, so they'd be looking to draw NAs early.

Beyond that, it was tight all the way, and vamps got phenomenally lucky with recruit picks (we only missed a beat when I tried to NK Buffy and then re-recruited Khell). There were lots of points where the game could've gone tits up for us. Conversely, town's only mistakes were lynching Korlat (and Emu revealing prematurely) and (imho) their biggest mistake- the Shadow lynch. Now, this is partially Ando's fault for not trying to let the good guys know he knew Buffy--that kind of support would've been a HUGE boon when it came to the inevitable confrontation b/w me and Tapper. But with the no reveals rule I can't really blame him too much.

Realistically, though, vamps were barely a step ahead-and any screwup could've tilted the whole thing (that includes killing Buffy and triggering Slayer Jr.). We managed to avoid them, but it was more chance than conscious decisions. So overall, the balance was fine. Maybe a few more RIs to start would've made it better.

Worked out in the end. Much easier to turn a lync against someone found as Xander than it would be against someone found as Master. If I scrambled to counter-reveal "Master" as Buffy, Bubba may not have bought it. And then Nom would help them to lynch you instead of Emu and my neck would be on the line-esp if Mess guarded me while Tapper tried killing you.
