Iirc, their vampires were more of a "bite you dead" variety. Mind, I only saw bits of Season 1. It got much more complicated later on, from what I gathered, but I'm hoping Bliss kept it simple(ish) to start with.- later on you end up with some good-ish vampires and all kinds of complexity.
It's curious that Merrid thinks of FMs- guess we'll have to see if we get player names in CF

I think we're all thinking it's earlier Buffy here. Look on the bright side - since season one was aired in '97 we're getting to rock out and dance to great chart toppers such as Candle in the Wind '97/Something About the Way You Look Tonight by Elton John and Barbie Girl by Aqua.
