Malazan Empire: The Future - Malazan Empire

I think we will see a few of the old characters in Midnight Tides. My quess and I could be very wrong, is that Tlann Imass will be involved as well as Silver Fox and perhaps Paran as well. At the end of 'memories of ice" Silver fox and the Tlan Imass went off to help the other's who could not make it to Silver Foxes summoning because they were fighting an Enemy a Human empire if I remeber it corectly. Could this enemy be the human empire mentioned in the teaser?
