So yeah some of you may have caught wind that something was going on with me recently.

I can announce now that today I signed a four book deal with Realmwalker Publishing Group and that my debut novel, Incarnate, will be out sometime later this year (hopefully by the end of June).

I am doing an excite.

Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

Thanks all!

@Comrade Ment - yes, I believe so. We're looking at the end of June due to comic conventions and such.

@GoreSheff - Not yet. It'll be sorted nearer the time I think. I want it to be a focal shot of Kaenna, ideally, but we'll see.

Ahaaa. Maybe. I'm under contract now so let's just describe it as a smashing together of Abercrombie, Lynch and Dexter and leave you gasping for more.

Can't wait till I'm old enough to read "Mature Themes" and "Adult Situations"!

I'm still a bit shellshocked because the manuscript wasn't even four weeks finished when the offer was made. Knowing people really does pay off.

I would hope being able to write a decent story helps as well? Or are you gently setting us up for crushing disappointment? :hrhr:

My proofreaders (one is Stormcat from here actually) have all spoken well of the story. Myself, well, I can only do my best and hope it works. I am rather enjoying the fact that some of the plotlines are basically writing themselves for me - it's a big help considering deadlines.

Congrats! Looking forward to seeing it in print.

Their accepting the draft you sent 100% or asking for a few tweaks or to soon yet to tell?

I've been told that the content isn't being changed at all. It'll be edited for grammar, spelling and continuity but to be honest the manuscript that'll go over by the deadline is going to have had my own perusal for the listed issues, as well as proof readers going over it for the same.

Absolutely. In the meantime, Joel's debut (also coming via Realmwalker) is due for release in April so hop on over and get hype.
