Hi, I'm new to this forum, I've reread the entire series twice (best series I ever read) yet I could never seem to follow how one of Brys' fingers ended up with Selush. Could someone explain?

Selush was a 'dresser of the dead'. She probably had work-related reasons to be in the palace after events in MT.

...or she acquired it via sneakier means. The point is that the pieces of a dead person have value, and Brys' in particular would be worth the effort to someone who knew what they were doing.

The rat catchers guild could have had something to do with collecting it.
Lether seems to have had a thriving occult business dealing with the dead/undead.
