Uesugi Kenshin heard the roaring in his ears, as if a divine wind were assaulting him and him alone. He looked at his troops, and saw their stoic faces. Yes, only he could hear it. It must be the voice of Bishamonten, the god of war, carrying to Kenshin a message of victory, for within that wind he heard the voices of his enemies, howling for his head. Yet he knew Bishamonten’s presence stood like a wall against their will. He, Kenshin, was Bishamonten’s avatar on earth, and on this day the Takeda would fall like dead leaves in winter.

After all the waiting, marching and anticipating, the Uesugi and Takeda lines engaged. The Takeda battle group led by Sanada Yukitaka found itself in a pitched battle with the Uesugi group led by Amakasu Kagemochi. Neither side was willing to give ground, men and horses falling to spears and arrows. Yukitaka laid about with his naginata, splitting the face of an Uesugi soldier before skewering the throat of a second. Kagemochi rode down a Takeda archer and spinning in his saddle swept his sword across the face of a mounted Takeda samurai, who dropped from his saddle like a bale of rice.

Nakajo Fujikasuke leading the Uesugi Vanguard attempted to swing over to help Kagemochi’s battle group, but found his way blocked by Takeda Nobushige leading the Takeda Vanguard. Receiving support from reserve troops, both Uesugi and Takeda Vanguards inflict terrible casualties. The Takeda Van and supporting troops proove to be more numerous than the Uesugi Van, and Nakajo watches as his line pushes, wrinkles, and then crumples backwards. He gives the order for his men to retreat and join the Support troops commanded by Yasuda Nagaide. He wheels his horse around to join them, but as he does so takes an arrow to the back and slides from his horse, spitting blood.

Nakajo Fujikasuke (Denesmet/Blend) of the Uesugi is dead.

So if ultama speaks the truth, hes gona come up as one of
Takeda: yukitkaka, nobushige
Uesugi: Kagemoshi, Nagaide

as i doubt kenshin would reveal himself.

interesting. By saying that hes pretty much just reiterated there's a 50% chance of him being on a given team, so for all i know he could just be lying.

only did a really quick read through

I see pressuring Gait didn't give us any info afaik

remove vote

I don't have a case so with Ultama being at L-2 you won't need my vote today

this is moving really slow(I'm not certainly helping)

I don't really like Ult saying their name was mentioned, the names mentioned there have high ranks. And I would need a reread to sort my thoughts about them and people voting

I should have more time tommorow

Ultama has provided a bit more content than Gait or Olar Ethil, but it's still fairly low content.

We're still pretty early in the day for this to have taken off as quickly as it has. It's curious. I think some people are getting a read on who are on their teams.

Well, that's been true since the very start, really. However, with 2 takeda and 1 uesugi down, there are slightly higher odds he's uesugi. But it's minimal.

I think he's referring purely to the case where Ultama's reveal is true. If he's a named character in the scene (and we exclude Kenshin) then he's one of four characters, two of which are Takeda and two of which are Uesugi.

Just popping in for a second to prevent modkill. I am not going to vote for a lynch until battle days are over. I have very little clue who is actually on my side and do not care to further weaken my team by accidentally lynching a member until there really isnt anything going on. Yes I know this is a shitty strategy but it is currently the safest for me as I have even less time than I thought to contribute to the thread.

I know, I was merely pointing out that it's nearly 50/50 anyways through pure statistics, so even if Ultama is lying, doesn't really matter.

Not really. Venge was always the easiest to alt.

Back on topic, I don't really have anything to add to the current lynch train. I'm happy to vote Ultama, but I don't think it needs to be now.

I will say, this post stood out to me like a sore thumb:

This is a long, waffly way of saying nothing. Ultama's at L-2 with sixteen hours left in the day, but it's going really slowly? Vote removal, but without a vote having been placed?

I think this will merit a closer look tomorrow.

I'm back....

From Ahshikaga's place...

just walked in to find you here

with all that blood upon your face

I should have changed that wet bow string

I should have made you leave your spear

if I'd have known for just one second

that you'd fight all the way to here

so now go!

head back toward

the palace of kyoto

and leave your goddamn sword....

Yeah, Emur's been pretty wishy-washy all game imo.
