After all the waiting, marching and anticipating, the Uesugi and Takeda lines engaged. The Takeda battle group led by Sanada Yukitaka found itself in a pitched battle with the Uesugi group led by Amakasu Kagemochi. Neither side was willing to give ground, men and horses falling to spears and arrows. Yukitaka laid about with his naginata, splitting the face of an Uesugi soldier before skewering the throat of a second. Kagemochi rode down a Takeda archer and spinning in his saddle swept his sword across the face of a mounted Takeda samurai, who dropped from his saddle like a bale of rice.
Nakajo Fujikasuke leading the Uesugi Vanguard attempted to swing over to help Kagemochi’s battle group, but found his way blocked by Takeda Nobushige leading the Takeda Vanguard. Receiving support from reserve troops, both Uesugi and Takeda Vanguards inflict terrible casualties. The Takeda Van and supporting troops proove to be more numerous than the Uesugi Van, and Nakajo watches as his line pushes, wrinkles, and then crumples backwards. He gives the order for his men to retreat and join the Support troops commanded by Yasuda Nagaide. He wheels his horse around to join them, but as he does so takes an arrow to the back and slides from his horse, spitting blood.
Nakajo Fujikasuke (Denesmet/Blend) of the Uesugi is dead.
So if ultama speaks the truth, hes gona come up as one of
Takeda: yukitkaka, nobushige
Uesugi: Kagemoshi, Nagaide
as i doubt kenshin would reveal himself.
interesting. By saying that hes pretty much just reiterated there's a 50% chance of him being on a given team, so for all i know he could just be lying.
