A guy I asked with asked for fantasy recommendations the other day and said he'd heard mbotf was good. I firstly had to control my premature ejaculation at the prospect of work nerd company, and then realised I've been absent from here for a disgusting amount of time. So, jumping on to skywalker's thing, what have I missed in the last couple of years?! Relieved to see morgy is still alive, I was convinced the horror that is akevitt would have claimed him by now....

I have early onset brainworms.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

They made Gothos a mod when he was like 14, didn't they?

I think Gothos was around that age. Lady A was 14, Brood 14, I was 16... in the ChrisW and Rake days this place was run by kids :D

I was a mod for a few months way back in the day... it was fun for a while. :D

Until you were deceived by the snake.

I think 'enlightened' was the word you were actually looking for there. :)

In the [digital and/or molting] flesh! I think it was right around when you got engaged that I started drifting off, with this being something you were especially looking forward to lol.

So, a bit late on this, but... how's married life? And Brood isn't still around somewhere, is he?

Yes, in fact that was the video I posted in that thread IIRC.

Married life is great, it gets better all the time! And Brood is around cos I meet up with him fairly regularly but he's not on here as much.

What about you? As far as I recall, all the Canadians on the board were all scared that you might be heir Doctor or something... There were also rumours that you, Abyss and Darkwatch were all the same person but the dominant personality was slowly killing off the other two...

So many greats walked right over... I see you Ray. I see you Mat.

...
...
...
I didn't see you Toby. You are too fucking slick you sly bastard. But....

Welcome back all! The Empire is lesser without you but continues on. And on. And on.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

All the people who came before should come back and do a Best Of tour of their great posts.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Reddit has stolen your grammar Ray.

I love Reddit too, but I still come here. Quality of discussion is much higher.

Yeah I like it here because I feel like I am talking to real people that I know on Some level. On Reddit it's just random assholes all the way down, but there's a lot of them and they are active.

I think the last time I actively posted was before my daughter was born. She'll be two in August.
