I enjoyed the first 3 books of janny wurts mistwraith series when I read them, but I had a gap between the 3rd and the 4th book and I'd forgotten to much to get back into them, especially with the relatively large time frame between when each book comes out. A series I've always intended to get back into when the final one comes out (which may be a while). I have enjoyed most of Wurts stuff i've read, to ride hell's chasm and this way lies camelot were both decent, and her collaboration with Feist is by far the best thing he ever wrote.

Wars of Light and Shadow does sound interesting. Can't believe I haven't heard of it. I love the big, epic fantasy series.

I have not heard of Wars of Light and Shadow either. Sounds like I have to give it a look. On a side note after a quick Wikipedia search, the covers are absolutely atrocious even when compared to the normal atrociousness of fantasy covers. I obviously will not hold that against her

Heh. Funny how many people got interested in the series after my brief mention of it :) It has climbed to number one spot on my to read list at the moment so I'll probably get to starting it in a few weeks time (30% through WOT 5 at the moment on my re-read).
