Another book bites the dust, and things are getting just more and more complex... Don't get me wrong, I love the challange, but sometimes can't help thinking...wtf just happened. Some topics in this forum have mentioned the Bridgeburners have ascended. I can't remember exactly but i think someone mentions in the books that they are a new member in the deck of dragons. (Correct me if wrong). During the last battle in the book, in the whirlwind camp, they seem to be several kind of ghosts/shadows: raraku's memory ghosts claiming the desert, the chain of dogs spirits and the crippled gods own shadows. And finally, Fid is saved by a Bridgeburner!!! That is a lot going on and I've may have messed up. Still I honestly wish that the Bridgeburners are more than just ghosts (and ascended...). To me it does not make sense. There is more to what happened in Moon spawn whem Paran blessed them. I would find it an easy way of keeping the bridgeburners alive by just making them ghosts... And I'm sure Quick Ben knows all about it!!!! Or maybe I'm getting it all wrong... I'm frustrated I don't have more time to read more... Just started MT and I've got all exited just with the prologue!!!

You'll find out soon enough if your hopes and dreams are true or just more garbage for the landfill.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Indeed, it's a read and find out sort of situation. However, apart from Paran blessing them, also remember Kimloc the Tanno spiritwalker in Deadhouse Gates who was helped by Fiddler? Apart from a personal gift to Fiddler, he also created a song for the Bridgeburners at the time. Time will tell...
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.
