The first beta of Rocket League just ended a few days ago, the next beta is coming sometime in the next week or so. Rocket League is the sequel to supersonic acrobatic rocketpowered battlecars on the ps3, which wAs one Of the best games on that system.

The concept is fairly simple, rocket powered acrobatic cars playing soccer/football with a ball several times the size of the cars. Incredibly realistic ball physics, you can put spin and English on the ball if you hit it right. Easy to learn on a basic level, but a learning curve that never really stops.

If you have a ps3, check out the first one, you will never have more fun playing a video game. The sequel looks to be even better and will be on ps4 and PC to start, sometime this summer, priced under 20 dollars US. Check the beta if you have a ps4. Watch a couple
YouTube videos of the crazy shit going on in this game.

No, I am not being reimbursed for this, nor do I know the developers. It's just the best indie game you might see for years. Check it out, spread the word.

I remember you mentioning it before. I think I looked at it and didn't really like it. I haven't touched my PS3 in a year I think.

Ok this comes out on Tuesday, and is free with ps+, at least in the USA. Not sure about Europe. I can not stress enough how fucking fun this game is. It is free, take the time to download it and play a few matches.

PS+ is that the PSN that you have to pay for? I haven't signed up to it yet cos all the games I have I have been on single player. It is connected to the Internet though would that be enough? Sounds like fun!

Yeah ps+ is the pay service. It is worth it for the free games you get every month. They give typically two PS3 games, two ps4 games, and two vita games monthly, plus you get discounts on most things in the ps store. I normally play single player games too but love this service.

They are having server problems due to not expecting over 1.2 million downloads, but it is getting better. Game is as good as hyped.

Do the tutorials, they help. Also, try using ball cam most of the time. And remember double jump.

It's a great game. I've fallen off lately thanks to fallout but still get a game in here and there.

Waifu Team Gamma are looking forward to the qualifiers tonight - ideally we want to place mid-high Challenger tier. WTG_Bell-kun in the Road Hog, WTG_Kami-sama in the Takumi (don't ask). Bring it. Gonna 10/10 it tonight.

I'd not mind trying the Esper out. Aesthetically, I LOVE the Scarab, but the hitbox is crap. The Esper's looks like it'll be similar to the Takumi, which I'm used to and can pull off some pretty decent stuff with.
