Yeah, the original vague design was going to include a mechanic where if you figured out who a Servant was you could target their weak points and do a lot more damage to them, as well as develop counters to their noble phantasms. Of course, that was linked directly with the servant HP and mage mana mechanics, and I would have had to be 100% consistent with how much is revealed in scenes, as well as include individual descriptions of everyone in day locations...
Can you see why I didn't put all that in?
