Tonight is the College Football Championship game. As several of you know I am a lifelong Oregon Ducks fanatic. Both of my Parents are Alumi and I was born at old Sacred Heart which is on campus. I lived down the street from Autzen and would bike to games as a kid. I have been a duck since Brooks was our coach and still remember when we cracked the top 25 for the first time since the 1950's and the first time we made it to a bowl game (Independence Bowl) since the 1958 rosebowl loss.

Tonight we are playing Ohio State Buckeyes for the national championship. We first lost to them in the 1958 rose bowl and have been unable to defeat them since. I am extremely excited for tonights game.

Of course I know that there are fans of other College Football teams out there who share a similar devotion.

Please feel free to step forward and declare your allegiance and why.

Graham has really helped ASU recruit again and they should take the South Next year..

Tis the season for recruiting and checking this daily for sure. We landed the #4 LB in the nation, so the program Y/y is really building up. This will be our 3rd really good class of recruits so this year the team should change dynamically

. With billions flowing in infrastructure toward Tempe with State farm Corporate headquarters, Olymipics Committee building headquarter's, etc Tempe is looking great too. The Stadium getting a facelift, should be cool for that scene.

I played at Eastern Illinois, so thats the only team i follow week in and week out.

Other than that, I grew up in Big Ten country, so i always find myself cheering for them. Its been a rough couple seasons, but the big bowl wins this year has helped alot.

So the Slow Ben household will be cheering for the Bucks tonight.

The saddest part about tonight being the last CFB game of the season (other than the obvious fact of no football for 7 months) is that i live 45 minutes from Kentucky. And thats all i'll friggin hear about for the next 2 months, how fucking awesome Kentucky is.

I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

From close to the end of the 1st quarter on, that game was pretty much dominated by Ohio State. Oregon stayed close because of turnovers, but at no point did you think they had any momentum or were going to tighten up in any way and make a push. The Bucks dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

Whatever the Pac Ten gained this year in shedding the "finesse conference", they lost it last night.

On a side note, i dont think i'd enjoy trying to tackle Jones.
