Well Ultama being gone that long is quite disturbing. We have already seen PS has no qualms about modkilling. So I would assume their absence is due to some mechanic, though what that could possibly be I wont even venture a guess. A low poster hunt is just as good a tactic as any at this point and yes I know I am in that group. The gaming is moving super slowly so we definitely need to get something going.

Yeah I noticed that. But along with work I am on dog sitting and baby sitting duty today and tomorrow. So I dont have a fucking clue what I am going to be doing at any given moment. Im trying to get any of my thoughts down while I can

I think that the length of the days are playing a significant role in how slowly this game is moving. I for one would not mind if we shortened the game days by 12 or more hours.

Do you also throw meat chunks to wild dogs while wearing a meat suit? Cause being a dick to SH on thread is not considered a bright idea either. Politely requesting or inquiring about something is perfectly acceptable. Anything else should be put in a PM. Obviously this is a complex game and the mods are busy in RL as well. I am sure that resolution will come when everything is wrapped up.

I assumed from the beginning that the 48 hour day was so that Obdi could resolve before/after work rather than leaving us hang. Obviously his RL has gotten more complicated than he expected.

That is usually why long day are implemented.

This game made me start up a re-read of the series, forgot some important pieces of information.

Kincaid is a badass and definitely independent. I wonder what this means for game.

Kincad is referred to as the hellhound. His father was a demon and he was the right hand of Vald Dracul for years. In this game I would have had him down as an independent, as a very strong and powerful one though.

Kincaid is the bodyguard or Ivy, the Archive, who already died earlier in the game.

The Archive is one of the "true neutral powers" in the dresden universe, and while Kincaid is a evil bastard, when he's hired on a contract he honors it.

That both he and Ivy were in this game makes me believe he was a "good guy" here. Which in game terms probably means he was an independant who was working with Ivy + others maybe?


To be fucking honest, even after all this time, I still don't even know what the victory conditions of any faction are.

BTW, I am willing to bet A LOT, that the days are this long because there are off-thread comms between queens and the people the queens want to recruit and the extra long days give them a chance to have a discussion or negotiate terms if they are in different time zones, I doubt it will be changed. This has already been hinted at previously by others to be happening.

I'm pushing 13 hours at work so far today, but I think I have some time to try to resolve night for you guys. Give me a bit.

I'm also going to institute a rule change at the beginning of next day, whereby actions taken that are of the same power level as the target will now succeed.

Game Changes:
1) Equal power levels can now do nasty things to each other.
2) Day will time out if someone is lynched. If anyone complains that it is taking me (or anyone else who wants to help) a while to get on thread after a lynch, they will be modkilled.
3) If someone hasn't posted for 48 hours, please let me know. There will be more modkilling.
