I wonder if changelings can choose to either join the human or sidhe factions depending on how the game is going. Again, dont know if it translated into the game, but if you look at the wiki a changeling can choose either or. Maybe something to consider as Summer lost one of the guards or players aligned with her, so that might have given the winter-sidhe changelings some confidence to turn to that side.

Ok retract the part in the earlier post about humans. Humans are most definitely present and they may go any which way. I find the second quote very significant. They "just want peace" I take that as implying they are ripe for government recruitment as the government surely only wants 'law and order' But, they may also want power and immortality. Can the Knights mantle be bestowed upon a vanilla human? Think in terms of magical artifacts that can empower humans. and you have a bunch of magically enhanced human enforcers running around.

Once they choose power and immortality as you put it then it does not make them human. And Yys, a Mantle can probably be bestowed on a human in some fashion and if they choose so but then they will have to work and play in accordance to the Sidhe rules.

So we have humans that can be convinced or possibly lured into joining the Sidhe factions, human FBI agents working to keep humans safe from the changelings as well as changelings that can and probably HAVE to choose a side , if that is part of their abilities, to win.

Low activity can also mean a building plot by one or both of the groups. (I am being wildly optimistic) Frankly shield hunting still seems to be the only viable proposition. Thing is, if each queen has two shields, and one is a KNight and one is a Lady, by the book dynamics, the Lady should be double the power of the Knight (at least). Of course that may have been levelled down in the interests of game simplicity. Now that I come to think about it though, taking out a Shield may not give immediate results as the mantles can probably be immediately transferred to other suitable people. A minimum of two successive lynches which can make on faction run out of aligned people seems to be the only trick, but I doubt if that can be done.

I can't help but agree with this - I mean, we're a bunch of humans amongst a few Sidhe, right? No wonder no one wants to jump too high.

I would like to point out that this seems to be the second night that it looks like someone attempted to kill someone else and was unable too.
