This was not planned at all, but yesterday I started sketching with my trusty pencil and sure enough a Forkrul Assail started to emerge... and I kept at it. Later I ended up going nuts on it in Photoshop, in total I think I spent about 10 hours on this. I know she's not supposed to have red eyes, but I felt like red looked best with the rest of the colors I was using.

Not too much stuff being posted here lately, I've been considering re-reading this series, for some reason it inspired me to make tons of drawings.

Very nice work with the limbs, some artistic license (red eyes as you mentioned - also, does it ever mention the Assail as having head hair? I imagined them bald but that might just be me) but very good work certainly.

That's a pretty amazing image, Niva. I can well believe that it took 10 hours!

I'd go with D'versify on always having imagined the Forkrul bald but hey, having an artistic license has to be good for something :-) I think of the Pures looking a little bit like those beings from A.I., fairly androgynous.

Still an amazing depiction. Not sure about whether to ask you to post it to the Wiki - might need a 'covered up' version. Don't know what the Wiki policy is on nude images, to be honest.

Awesome picture. As far as I can recall, Calm was the only one outright described as bald. One in MT was blonde, though I'm sure one had red hair in CG and another "colourless hair", pretty sure there was some black hair too :crybaby:

Though I always pictured Forkrul Assail as having grey nipples.
