Anyone else read this? Grabbed it on the kindle a day or so ago and finished it in a few hours.

It's probably not even long enough to be considered a novella but had some interesting world building none the less.

The whole worm-worship, celebration of rot etc was pretty cool and I couldn't help comparing it to how we've seen D'rek in the books.

If you're on the fence about this one there's massive worms, a descent into an underground city and a tradition of turning leaders in massive worms via surgeon-priests...

All in all an interesting blend of sci-fi, fantasy and horror. Highly recommended!
