Hi there. I'm Lily. I've been lurking. I'm usually sarcastic. Please don't be offended by me. There, introduction over.

I'm currently reading Memories of Ice, about halfway through. I've been avoiding spoilers very carefully (and intend to continue doing so). Loving the series, but it's the most confusing one I've ever read. Apsalar and Quick are my favourites. And Felisin.

I haven't been on any forums in quite a long time, but in the past I've always found myself in the sort of... "random corner." We'll see.

Anyways.
Welcome me.

Sarcasm and randomness is heavily appreciated here (usually to be found in the Phoenix inn sections).

Divergent opinions are also welcomed. But be really careful of trusting Apt's taste in movies.

Each book specific section will have discussion up to that book, so if you can hang onto your live reading questions and ask them here or give your thoughts, we can chip in as needed.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Thanks. ;)

I'll remember that.

And Apt's movie taste... I'll keep that in mind? Haha, sounds slightly worrying. And hilarious.

I'll do that. I'll probably start making theories... then everyone who finished the series will be laughing at me because I'm so horribly wrong.

Welcome to the highly irregular family!

Just remember the following:

wolverine generally wins.

The rep wars are over.

Rodeo wears pants.

Good to have ya with us. ;) .

Don't listen to them. I am the cliff that the waves of the rest of the forums bad opinions crash against. I am a beackon of light in the darkness of peoples arrogance.

Also go watch Transformers. It's good for you.

Rodeo wears pants. I have to say I wish there was some context to that one. xD

I'm sure. Also, I fell asleep in Transformers.

Rodeo never wears pants. Don't believe anyone who says anything to the contrary.

Perhaps i should have qualified that:

Rodeo is porputeously inclined to wear pants on certain auspicious occasions.

The running theory is such auspicious occasion may involve cold wintery midnights when the crows gather.

This is canadian midnight though, so it all runs back to wolverines general principle of win.

Don't worry, it all makes sense eventually.

I like Transformers too, Apt.

But, your movie taste is awful in general.

It is known.

Welcome new person.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....
