Someone has posted some Malazan artwork on the Wikia ( example: http://malazan.wikia.../Onos_T%27oolan )

I think it's a brilliant idea. Anyone else here who would like to add some images?

Im not that familiar with the wikia but i have seen one or two of my older pieces on it. I have no problems with that.

Im happy to link artwork to characters though maybe someone with more wiki wisdom would do a better job of it?

Looks like it's all still working! I have added a subtext to the picture to say it's by the famous Corporal Nobbs ... oh, alright, that's not quite true... forgot to add the famous bit... anyway, thank you very much CN! Like your depiction of Duiker and look forward to your other images. The Wikia is a pretty good platform to reach a wider audience with, so who knows... maybe I'll have to add the famous bit soon...

When I am editing the Wikia, I am adding as much detailed character info as possible in the hope that it will give you artists more to work with.

One thing everyone... the Wikia is obviously public, so only upload your own stuff to avoid any copyright disputes.

I think it's pretty straight forward. Just register a user account and use the upload picture link. once you have done that, either have a go at editing the picture into the relevant page or shout and I'll have a go!

It can be hard work tracking down any physical descriptions of characters.

I keep meaning to take notes when I read through, but generally get to caught up in the story for it to last more than a couple of pages. So the wiki is my savior.

Do you know if anyone has done the two dogs from hell? That's Bent and Roach I mean. There are so many scenes with those two that produce really vivid images in my mind. Bent picking up Roach and as he trots away, the lapdog giving the humans the dog equivalent of a famous salute... or the one where they use Hood as a bridge... I think those two are amongst the best characters invented by SE.

I am making my way through GotM and tCG page by page at the moment and adding every bit of info I come across... it's slooooow going. And there is real life interference of course... wish I could get paid to edit the Wikia... as it is, I'll probably finish in a decade or so, lol, so don't hold your breath!

I envisaged Bent to look far scruffier at that point, but a great depiction nevertheless.

Corp i know you have that warren comp going on but maybe we could make the wikia the forums holiday season project?

IT'd be great to have a portrait of every character in the description.

OK, I don't have much but uploaded 3 images. My sketches of Greyfrog, Apt, and Crump from way long ago. I'm sure someone will come up with better quality replacements for those but here these are for now. I would be down to do a few more quick ones as well. I could do some weird creatures.

@Dolmen. Yeah, that could be fun. I've already done my warren comp piece, so I've got nothing else on.
Maybe see what characters have already been done and go from there.
I've been working on Fiddler's squad lately. Got Cuttle on Bottle on the go at the moment as well as another of The Watch.

@Llama - Yep, will get around to uploading them. The ones that I think are good enough anyway.
More creatures would be good. Other than the K'chain, the demons and such don't get a huge amount of love from us.

Maybe post something in the DA group as well.

If someone else uploads images for the same character, there is no reason at all that we can't keep them all. Maybe, if there were several, then the art community between them might take a vote on which one should go first, but in the meantime, I think they should just be displayed in the order in which they are uploaded.

I have edited the two images which you uploaded into the relevant pages. I assume Shadaan is your alter ego on deviantart so have used that name as source info.

There are some great creatures that would be worthy of attention. What about the Quorl? Has anyone done them? There is quite a bit of description for them on the Wikia.
