With regards to getting the CF (ie Tatts' alt name), does that mean that Tatts is no longer in the game? Therefore, would it not be prudent to check whoever posted the most like Tatts on day one? Maybe that is where the FM jumped to, if there is an FM.

Ok, but until I read through those hundreds of thousands of words to get to the meaning of that, while playing this mafia game, can you give a quick explanation for what he meant with that post?
You know there is this little thing called the internet and you can look things that you don't know up on it.
But since you obviously don't want to read dresden even though it will enrich your life.
As far as I know there is only one mention of a dragon cult in the books. Michael Carpenter the knight of god combated a dragon cult and killed Siriothrax to rescue his future wife Charity Carpenter who had been offered to the dragon as a sacrifice by cult leader, Gregor.
The Order of the Blackened Denarius, usually just shortened to Denarians, is an organization of fallen angels who are bound to thirty ancient silver coins, denariu, and seek to bond with human hosts. The coins are said to be the silver given to Judas Iscariot in exchange for his betrayal of Jesus.

I have read all of Dresden and love it. It's awesome.
Now, having said that, I don't know how I would pull a dragon cult out of thin air. No mention of that anywhere. Secondly what if the OP "Ferrovax" is in the game? Why not? Anyone want to have a run at trying to lynch Path Shaper? Unless of course he is inside an alt (Ferrovax that is)

It does rather sound like Tiam is Korv. And is rather keen to be lynched again. We suppose he is in the Library, any Day actions that can have an effect on him may be approprite. Of course he could be bullshitting from both alts and therefore not in the Library at all.
I have suspicions about what mechanics could be behind it therefore I'm inclined to leave Tiam for the moment. He wants to be lynched, why are we doing what he wants.
Tulas, you've been defending them. I think we need to take a look at you.0
Dragon, I want Tulas Shorn Gone!
You are kidding, right? You say Tiam wants to be lynched and vote for Tulas Shorn, who is clearly doing more to deliberately get themselves lynched instead of Tiam.
Tiam is looking exactly like Korv. Tulas has at least been different.
If he's looking exactly like Korv, then to me that is all the more reason to lynch them.
Tiam has an ability which gives them info on alts and actions. This makes it easier to work out, by process of elimination who did what.
Now let's think back and recall what Korvalain said they get if they guess who did the killing, where, and how. They get that power, if I'm not mistaken.
Ergo, Tiam also has that ability. I would rather not wait around watching them grow more powerful thanks.
The only problem being that nobody was killed last night. So Tiam couldn't have guessed and stolen that ability.
I'm saying the longer they are left alive the likelier is that they will be able to guess correctly once someone is killed, thanks to their info gathering ability.

The cult in the last game was the Fomor, wasn't it? The Denarians could only recruit like one or two people if I remember correctly. The Fomor were the true cult-like recruiters.

You said you are hunting cult and were trapped in the library. It seems to me that someone else on that list (if you aren't lying) would likely have caused it. Do you have anything that would help identify others that are at your location?

Partial lies are the best. Why would there be a Dragon cult if there are Denarians?
I believe Tiam is using partial truths as well. For one, I don't think there would be a dragon cult if Ferrovax is the character running this show. Korvalain ousted Tiam as Sharkface out of everyone, and now Tiam is saying he just happens to have a VC to kill Sharkface, the character he was being accused. That's too much coincidence.
I think Korvalain slipped up when he called Tiam both Sharkface, and his own name. Sharkface is He Who Walks Before for those who don't know, and Korvalain called Tiam both 'Before' and 'Behind'. The 'Behind' was most likely a slip of his own name, because we know from last nights cf that Korvalain was 'Behind.'
Tiam jumped on Korvalain's train, which is what made Korvalain get mad and reveal Tiam's identity. Possible identity, assuming it's true. This is simpler than the idea that Korvalain just happened to call Tiam by the name of the character he just so happens to have a VC to kill.
Occams Razor states that if there are two competing ideas, the simpler one is better.
I believe Korvalain was mad because his teammate voted for him instead of defending him, and revealed his identify. I believe Tiam made up the dragon cult instead of whatever the real cult is. The real cult is most likely the Denarians or the Outsiders.
At this point, I'd be most willing to vote for Tiam, but the day is long. Korvalain also stated that Tiam was unable to be lynched, which might present a problem. There's no telling yet on how much of what he said was true, but this is the biggest event we have going on in the game at present, and I see no reason to move on unless something more appealing presents itself.
Revealing your team mate is such spectacularly bad play that I don't expect it from Tattersail. He makes mistakes in how he approaches and pressures, most commonly when handed a powerful role (like now), but he's not exactly a guy who sinks his team and he plays long enough to understand the value of distancing.
Maybe Tatts mentioned the unlynchable thingummy to pre-empt us from trying to lynch Tiam, especially considering how many votes it took us to take Korvalain down. He was also taunting the thread a little bit imho, and he needed roughly one bazillion votes to die (including a self-vote). I suspect he had more of a plan than anger issues.
As for the cult and what they are, well, I honestly don't give a fuck about what the name of the cult is, really, unless we have mechanics to work with. The point is there's one, right?
Anyway, my proposal is that we try to lynch Tiam, and if impossible, we attempt to get rid of Tulas, who has by all means rolled over and picked a text for his tomb stone already.

Tiam's got some pretty interesting info, not sure if it's true or not. If it is true, then he's a serious power player. The sheer amount of stuff he posted has swayed me towards believing that his info is true, because that's quite a bit of stuff to fake, if he faked it. The problem with this is that I can't tell whether or not it would be possible for an outsider to get that information. It seems possible, but there seem to be more likely roles than an outsider who would focus on information.

If Obdi wants the role to work like that and Outsider is the tag he gave it, then that's how it works.
Not lynching Tiam because you believe his powers to be true but his apparent alignment to be false is semantics unless you think he might be on your side.

If Tiam isn't an outsider, I'll bet he's nicodemus. A lot of what he's said points to it, and I'd be happy to see nico go if his lynch doesn't get stopped by the noose he always wears.
Theory : Nicodemus
Nico has lived thousands of years, he is extremely powerful, and Anduriel, the fallen angel inside him, is the spymaster of the fallen, and in the book is says something like: wherever there are shadows Anduriel can hear you" or something like that. Fits pretty well with an information role. Also, if he's telling the truth about his VCs, then he's not the dragon, not in the dragon cult, and not sharkface. He says the outsiders want to kill him, but the Denarians are looking for him. They don't want him dead, maybe they want to find their leader? And Korv called him unlynchable: Sound like the noose he wears anyone? And when he wins, he can't come back because it bores him. Seems a bit like Nico to me.

I am too. The big thing will be to get everyone possible on early enough that if it looks like a no lynch, a new target can be picked
