"Normal" Rules apply except for the following:

1) Days are 36 hours, nights are Immediate. If your actions are not submitted by the end of Day, they will not happen.

2) Do not edit your posts. If you make a mistake, make a new post. Any editing of posts will result in modkill. I don't care if you are adding punctuation or changing everything in the post.

3) Voting for lynches: The amount of votes needed for lynches each day is mutable (that means it changes!). You will not be told how many votes are needed for a 'lynch' to end day until/unless it stabilizes. Voting MUST be in this format:

Dragon, I want (name) Gone!

It must be on its own line, in bold, with the wording above. Clearly you replace (name) with the alt name you are voting for.

4) There are locations. They are as follows:

Kitchen
Ballroom
Billiard Room
Library
Lounge
Bar
Underground Pool
Dining Room.

Each location is within visual and audio distance of the ones next to it, so you may receive further information regarding lynches/kills if you are within range, by PM from Path-Shaper. If your ability is a location related ability, and not specifically stated otherwise, the 'locations' include the room you are in and the one on either 'side'. The list 'wraps around', so the Kitchen is next to the Ballroom and the Dining Room.

During each day you must, once and only once per day, submit a location to Path-Shaper. You will travel to that location at the end of the current day, and be there that night and the next day. If you do not submit anything to Path-Shaper, it will be assumed you are somehow everywhere, and therefore available to be attacked from everywhere, even if the attack requires you to be in a specific location. You may travel to any location from any location each day.

5) There are items in this game. They may do good or bad things, depending on the item and who/what you are. You will be informed of what they do for/to you when/if you get one.

6) Each day you may, once, send a message to Path-Shaper in clue style format, related to a death that happened the night before. It must be something like this:

In regards to the Death of Anomander the night before, I suggest it was Anthras, in the Library, with a lead pipe

Note that there will be clues in scenes and you will need to be pretty specific, you can't just say 'with something supernatural'. You will receive, in your Role, the bonuses for getting this correct. You may not 'guess' any kill that you did, or any kills that anyone has told you they did in a lover connection.

7) You can quote/summarize/lie/suggest/whatever any communications to or from Path-Shaper. Quote your role PMs, Lie, Mislead, Whatever you want. I don't care. If you post something then edit it, see rule 2.

8) Do not post in this thread until I post the alt list and start the game. If you do you will lose an ability for the game, or all your abilities for a time yet to be determined (but no less than through night 1).

You wake up, rather groggy.

You start as you realize you don't know where you are. You start to look around, and realize you are in a rather lavishly appointed Manor House. Then you notice the others. They all look just the same. It looks as if someone is using magic to make everyone look the same. What is this? Where are you? What is going on?

Then a throat is cleared. This isn't a small throat, nor is the clearing delicate. You don't want to, but you turn around to face the noise and see the rather large head of a rather beautiful dragon looking down at you. His scales are a beautiful reddish gold, his eyes are a clear green, and his stare is piercing.

'You may', he begins, and you clutch your ears because he is so loud he may have just burst both your eardrums. That horrible throat-clearing noise happens again, and this time you see a hint of flame and feel heat wash over you, as if you had just opened a pre-heated oven.

'Forgive me, I'm not used to talking with mortals in this form.', says the dragon, in a much softer, but no less regal voice. 'You will be confused as to why I, Ferrovax, brought you here, it is because we are going to have some fun. Well, I'm going to have some fun. Those of you that survive will probably have some fun too! These humans have a game called Cluedo. We are going to play it. So, I've brought you here and put illusions on each of you so you look the same. That seems fair, right? Well, even if it isn't, it is what has happened. Some of you know some others, some of you can communicate through telepathy or through this human technology of radio waves. Have fun.

The goal is simple. To amuse me. Once I've been amused enough, I suppose I shall allow some of you to live. Anyone who manages to make it out of my lovely guest house here will also be allowed to live. But anyway, back to this human game. As you can see there are numerous rooms and numerous of you. Each of you will be allowed to vote for who I eat each day. If you don't manage to come to an agreement, I'll just eat someone at random. While you are doing that, I assume with your little mortal viciousness that you like to display so often, you will be killing each other at night.

Each day you get to guess who killed someone who died the night before, and how they died. If you guess right, I shall give you a leg up on your competitors. If you guess wrong, well, let us be generous and say there will be no penalties for wrong guesses.

Now my little bunnies, I'm going to destroy the foyer you are standing in so that you cannot leave that way, so I suggest that you scramble into the House proper and start staring at each other all shifty-eyed.'

With that, Ferrovax breaths in, and you know he is going to destroy this hall using nothing but his fabled fire of destruction, and you flee as fast as you can, further into the house, to start what is known as 'The Game'.

Real quick as a note, you are currently randomly scattered about the Manor.

Any movement actions submitted will be processed as normal before Night Starts.

Any movement actions submitted before this WILL not be processed, especially if you asked to 'start' at a specific location.

This is like Dresden crossed with Saw. I like it.

Honestly, I've never watched any of the Saw movies, I'm just amused by the thought of Ferrovax wearing a Jigsaw mask!

You aren't missing much, just imagine The Viper vs The Mountain with no context or depth repeated ad nauseum. Then do it 7 more times.

You'd suspect audiences would get enough of that after the first movie, maybe the first two if they're particularly dumb. 7 times, really? That's a fucking generation growing up with that...

I actually just guessed 7 initially as a lark, as you say, how could there possibly be more than THREE. Even the most cro-magnon of men should have had their fill by that point, but then I googled it. SEVEN of those pieces of shit. That's more than the hobbit trilogy and the lord of the rings combined.

I own the first 5 I think but have only watched up to 3. Not bothered with the other two.

It's as many volumes as the frickin' Harry Potter books. I am quite okay with there being a "Hogwarts Generation", but the idea of a "Generation Saw" creeps me out.

Saw goes to Hogwarts!

Magical trap assault courses where when you don't finish, you don't live. Loser, lose all.

Now that I think about it, harry actually had to do that a few times in the series. The obstacle course before the philosopher's stone and the goblet of fire stuff come to mind right away.

Heyho. I didn't know what I should expect from a Dresden game, but I think Cluedo would have been well down my list of assumptions!
