Oh. Fuck dragonsecks. Serious business. Contracts are showing up as registered. Today is the one day when contract registration can give us great info.
Unless we're willing to assume 6 scum, that means we can get Rupture Internal Organs and keep it out of scum hands. And, with Hallucination, we can PI the holder? Possession being the wild card. I've updated my list.

Well, we're just starting to enter the main time period of most people's posting ability, so we don't need to give up just yet.
Day one lynch will be more random than usual, given "checking in" doesn't tell us much.
You, Aye Estos and Korabas have been the people who have contributed.
You've actually had something to say, Korabas is right IMO about day 1 giving a little information in terms of contracts, but not that much really. D'rek isn't going to give us an actual order, we just know what the first 6 or so, plus the next 3 were. I think we can assume that the last 3-4 were almost certainly town, and the other 3-5 have scum mixed in.

A few reasons, a few people said they were going to be low posters throught the game PLUS it was a bank holiday AND more than likely people have a larger workload than they would normally have on a tuesday.
At any rate, we know that any of the remaining contracts will go to town if they choose to take one, we know that two killing contracts were picked up in the first 5, along with possession. So easy to say the scum picked up at least one of them. Things should proceed relatively normally at least until day 3, when the fun stuff is unlocked and all hell breaks loose.
I propose right now that we behave extremely carefully tomorrow with regards to anyone acting oddly, you might even say POSSESSED, and not jump on any obvious lynch until the day after. We need to learn more about some of these contract interactions before we can try and counter them properly. Going to be a tough one.

Just checking in. The opening time for the thread coincided with a particularly long sleep/work/sleep/work cycle. I should be around a lot more tomorrow (hopefully).
Granted, Day One we really have nothing to go on with the current level of participation - I get the feeling the contracts speculation might distract us for a short while, which isn't entirely helpful. Scum don't have to keep using the same powers every night, so patterns etc in the killings may not be as reliable as normal, but at the end of the day they have to remove Town. By definition, unless a Town player has a really solid reason to believe someone is Scum, there should be no kills being thrown around that aren't Scum-on-Town. Long story short; we may end up hunting scum with more variable abilities, but Town should still be playing whatever abilities can be picked up for Town; so let's not get bogged down in too much mechanics speculation, eh?

Rereading this a few times is making me think it might be what happens if someone is resurrected by the chronomancer, or maybe what the "possessing spirit" gets if ressurected along with the "host"

I agree, hence why I haven't brought that shit up or bitten when numbers were talked about earlier.
I do believe each of us should be prodding and getting our votes out there, even if it is just to provoke reactions. The less responses we get, we lynch that person.

Well, disappointing amount of replies, but that makes it at the very least easy to catch up.
Regarding the taking of contracts: since there are priority lists, it seems to me as if the confirmed contracts were the top of the priority-lists. If someone at a low priority requests a contract and higher prio players haven't checked in/submitted yet, those would be on hold, I imagine.

Hmmm... So 8 of 14 contracts are registered. I wonder why not all 14 are registered given there are 14 of us.

What makes you say we can PI someone just cause they have Hallucination? Scum could have just as easily picked it up as town.
That being said, I think if there are 2 scum then they've probably got the kill ability and the Possession ability. That's going to be a dangerous combination.
