I have recently started a German version of the Malazan Wikia. If anyone with some German skills is interested, it would be great if you could pop in and help with the translating. I have not actually read the books in German so I am constantly searching the Net for the German names of characters etc. Any help with putting together the list of diviations would be fantastic! My general translation skills are a bit rusty, too, so even if you don't remember a thing about the books, you could still check grammar etc...

Also, anyone who is good at wikia editing... I have been trying to copy lay-out and format across as best I could but there is still lots that needs doing. Again, any help would be much appreciated.

There is a Polish site as well... I am sure they would love to see more contributors too.

And if you speak something else... why not set up a new site in your language? Something I learned the hard way... If you already have a Wikia account, set up a separate account to set up a new site in another language. That way you can tie a different language preference to that new account. Saves a lot of switching back and forth.

It all helps to spread the word about the Malazan world. :)

Edit: If you are a member of the German Malazanempires forum, it would be great if you could post something there about this. I have tried to register but it keeps rejecting my e-mail address for some reason.
