Recently rejected by Tor Publishing! Yay!
I wrote this in August, and was hoping to share it after publishing somewhere, but I figure this is a great and small community to share it with.

Thoughts? Likes? Dislikes? How'd you feel?
I wrote it after having that end epiphany when I met my "Nicole Brandt". Tried to keep the style really simplistic in a child like way and to emphasize that idea of imperfection. It was really hard not to re-write and re-write.
Hope you like it!

I thought this was pretty good over all. Could you clarify who the three portaitees in the following quote are: "The three portraits were released simultaneously" (are they specified in the text or not).

Thank you very much!
Those portraits were not specified in the text. Even though there are many great opportunities for portrait stories to be written about, I thought that since in that moment he is selling his soul, it'd be more eerie not to know who they are, or what the situation was like.
