It's like all of the fight scenes are trying to be as brutal and long as the one in They Live. Lol

First scene was dope. Rebecca is cooold. Chayton taking out those soldiers with just a crossbow was absurd. Loved Job's "driving outfit."
All in all, a good start.

Why did Brantley leave his henchmen behind without a car!?
Seriously though, what a great episode.
I had written a lot more, but then my browser crashed.

I thought that little twist flashback at the beginning was cool. I guess that Emily is going to try to make Kai better? And as creepy and drug den cult leader sketchy as he was, that Charlie Knowles kid is slick.
Also, it's pretty well-executed that they can make Rebecca appear to be a sociopathic boss in one scene and then reveal that she's really just a poser wannabe in the next scene.
CHAYTON SHOULD BE DEAD THOUGH. I mean, what the fuck was up with Hood tripping? He's not clumsy at all.
Returning to the twist flashback at the end was pretty nicely done. Overall, I enjoyed this episode.

This season has been great. (minus the fact that they've killed off the two hottest characters in like back to back episodes
) I'm really looking forward to what is going to happen next each week.

Watching S03E07 now, and fuck, Hood lying on Siobhan's bed is just heartwrenching. And his sleeping bag on the floor! Damn.
I don't have a clue why that lady is helping Chayton though. If I entered my barn, a large, bleeding man threatened to kill me, and then he passed out, I would sure as hell be wary. Sure, she "doesn't have anything left to live for," or whatever. But, come on.
Gordon telling those fuckers, "You shouldn't have done that." after they shoved Carrie put a smile on my face
That whole fight scene was a lot of fun.
Love the way they shot the burglary scene. Very well done.
LOUISIANA, BABY!

That whole situation w/ Chayton was basically a way to show the audience how far gone Chayton is. That he did that to someone who not only didn't call the cops when they had a chance while he was passed out, but also saved his life. ...was going to give him her truck etc... (that and they needed to heal him up after being shot, lucky he passed out in a medic's barn!)
This show's great!

Da Buyu State!
Ok seriously that is more in line of what a 12 gauge will do to a human. That just makes the Colonel Hulk taking 3 shells the episode before that much more retarded lol.
Fun episode this week.

Haven't seen the most recent episode yet, but they did specifically show Stowe putting on a bulletproof vest before he went after Hood & crew in the last episode. That made it okay in my mind

EDIT:
Watching S03E08.
Okay, so Hood is definitely going to get in the ring with Chayton...AND DAMN. That was intense! "Well, this didn't go as planned..."
Oh, Rebecca. You poor, poor girl. Not everything can be bought with sex — especially not Burton's loyalty. I guess him and Varys are peas in a pod.
So excited that we're getting some of Burton's past.
Straight up stabs Chayton in the heart with a piece of glass. Damn. As intense as that was, the CGI of the eyeball was jarringly out of place. Otherwise, HOLY FUCK!!!!! I see what you mean about the shotgun, Briar King.
Then holy fuck I thought they were going to gun all those poor folks down

Stowe is solid. Excited for his storyline.

This season has been really good. I get sad before every episode when starting them thru my DVR as I see what episode number it is, and realize how close we are to the end of the season

This show has really moved up to one of my favorites this season. Sad I have to wait a year now to find out what happens to Job, etc. Think Hood will be working with Kai in some degree in the future? To help get Job back? I'd like to think no but that little sit down ending has got me thinking...
This show is so good.....
A pox on these "premium channel shows" for only being 10 episodes a season!

Tired of waiting for the new season to start! Still have like 5 months!
I might have to rewatch the last season if I find some time.

This upcoming season is the finale
Bet it goes out with a bang, hope Hood goes ultra badass mode since he won't be pretending to be a cop anymore.
Eliza Dushku will be there too.

Interesting start to the final season. Certainly not a direction I was expecting it to go.
