As someone who is up way past his bedtime I hope this game gets a lot better in the 2nd half...

Wish we got the American adverts here... is there a website that shows the best ones? I could use YouTube but I know I would have to sift through the rubbish to find good ones...

I have decided I am watching live with my mate who is staying over & I am supporting the Broncos. I just can't bring myself to root for the Seahawks. Can't do it! However England lost in the rugby & Utd lost in the Premier League so I'm a bit suspicious that now I have chosen to back Denver they will fold like a cheap deck chair...

We have got chicken, beers & tons of crisps in so I'm finally beginning to get a bit stoked about it!

As I said...

Yeah I've gone to bed. Don't care enough about the teams or this particular game to stay up for it. I bet Grumble is happy though.

That was a bad SB. Seatlle straight-up dominated. U-G-L-Y on all of the Broncos for dumb mistakes but the Seahawks capitalized on them all so well.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Heh, knowing the result makes reading the last couple of pages of this thread rather amusing. Brujah's powers of prophecy was a particular highlight.

I watched the first half last night before bed. Wow, I really enjoyed watching the Seahawks defense shut out the Broncos. They were all on cocaine and steroids and had five packets of smarties before the game washed down with a 5 gallon barrel of Red Bull. I just loved how fucking pumped they were. They gave no time at all to Manning, the Broncos offense couldn't handle that much pressure. The Broncos did not look as fit as the Seahawks and the Seahawks looked like they wanted it more. I'll watch the second half later tonight.

I will agree, Seahwaks did seem to want it more, and the fact that Manning only had like a minute on the field in the first quarter spoke volumes. But not the best SB in the past few years, definitely...
