Cbiefs are beasting on the Colts, and doing it with Smith's arm and their defense, and without the amazing, the handsome, the very tight Jamal Charles.

BAM - TURNOVER.

Luck is playing like a tool.

Alex Smith is the most under-rated QB in the league. He sat on the bench in San Fran learning the right way for 8 years. The other well known QB who rode the bench for a few years while he learned at a steady, healthy pace and learned from shadowing a great starting QB - Aaron Rodgers. And Smith don't even really have any stud receivers He's gonna be solid if he's able to stay with a team that gives him some weapons to work with. Give me Smith over Kap anyday.

It's still anyone's game but KC has opened some whoop ass on the Colts so far.

Might be time to update that to anyone's game not fielding a QB named Luck.

Smith - 4 TD passes.

I'm getting a little worried about that Broncos over Chiefs pick, now.

Uh oh. A quick Indy score and a chiefs turnover, and we might have us a game again!

Chiefs lost their starting RB who is far more than just their main back. He makes up a third of their entire offense. Avery, starting WR down. And now their pro bowl, all star corner down. All three with concussions. Luck will be able to take a big advantage of the backup corner. Even down 14 points, and even with the chiefs having had the momentum for most of the game, Id be willing to take money bets that Colts can come back and win now.

Somebody say something? Eh?

Thought I heard something.

Nevermind.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

The sound of me calling both games today? Oh yeah, I thought so.

Heh, with Bengals loss, the Andrew Luck show has to travel to New England. Would have been nice to see the Colts square off against the Broncos in the divisional round. Normally I would say the Broncos are a lock to make it to the AFC championship but they lost to the Chargers the last time the met, so could be interesting.

Broncos lost to the Colts as well.

Can't wait to get the Foxborough referee treatment.

Ah well, at least my Pack wasn't embarrassed this time. Micah Hyde makes that play, or perhaps if Shields and Neal don't get injured on the very first series we win. The day after is always the worst, knowing that any serious interest in the NFL has to wait another 8 months to rekindle. Now it's all academic. Of the remaining teams, I will root for the Saints and the Chargers, because I like an underdog.

I lived in Denver the 2 years the broncos last won the Superbowl. When elway retired, I quit watching football because I assumed it would take 10+ years to get another good team.

Well....I started watching again about 8 weeks ago...broncos are doing pretty good this year soooooo.....go broncos lol
