Aye, but sometimes we just cannot deal with the suspense. ^_^ Mercy us poor sordid mortals. If the Toblakai trilogy existed now, I'd go berserk over any plotlings

Tehol and Bugg are delightful. Are you finished with MT yet? There is some awesomeness near the end regarding those two. Posted Image

My personal favorite scene with those two was the "Sole Soup" scene, especially when they served some to Tehol's brother.

One of the best parts was the part where Tehol is critiquing the soup. I reread that scene on occasion just to have a good laugh.

Characters and dynamic duos like Tehol and Bugg (And Kruppe and Iskaral Pust) are absolutely awesome in this series. Endearing, heartwrenching at times and utterly preplexing both to us, the reader and the characters within the book and absolutely hilarious. Great times reading them. I look forward to reading all the Bauchelain and Korbal Broach books after FOD as they promise to contain similar elements from what I have heard and understand from how the books came to be. Anybody else read those yet?

These two are quite possibly my favourite characters in the series!! They are so perplexing, and the banter is just fantastic. Especially when other characters are on the receiving end of it! I really wish some characters would meet up, Tehol, Bugg and Kruppe would be awesome. Throw in Iskaral Pust and watch the madness unfold. :)

I'm just over halfway through MT and Tehol and Bugg had me laughing out loud so many times. The wool soup, the trousers. Going out with his "rain hat" smouldering. Priceless, these two are easily the funniest duo.
Can't wait to see what else they get up to in the rest of the book.

Perhaps the best duo of the series...I'd interchange these two with Kalam and Quick Ben, depending on the situation.

And arguably they are more dangerous.
