Not sure which one it is supposed to be but it looks pretty awesome.

I like and dislike. I think it is a very good picture. The details is awesome. I dislike the face in the smoke, I dislike the shield as it is only protecting a small area, I dislike his haircut and his youthful look. I am not sure what to make of the Denarian. I know this one is changed full but it has devil eyes, not human eyes and the books were quite specific that even though they look completely animalistic when changed that they have human eyes. I know what else now, most of the Denarians take the form of animals, mantis girl, gorilla boy (Magog), Cassius, spring to mind.

A picture says a thousand words, so I have only given my initial impression.

I will give the author a certain amount of artistic leaway. A lot of the things that you critized could be construed as symbolic. The coin in the hand of the demon. Smoke is a nod to Lash and her influence. The shield signifies Dresdens strength and looks better than an invisible bubble. Things like the sigils, the glowing pendants, the trail of broken concrete, etc. I just really like the amount of detail.
Also, I think that the man in the image could be anywhere between his 20s and his 40s. It's all about that Wizard Mojo.

We can both agree the amount of detail is amazing! The buildings in the background, the brickwork

Some of those other pictures, allthough rougher, look even better. I especially like the one where he is under fire.

It seems to clean to be Chicago. There is only a little bit of trash on the ground rather then a steady line against the buildings. Why in their right mind would cover brick with concrete on a building that is more then 4 stories. Sorry but there is no way that the people who go through alley ways would leave a perfectly good pallet just sitting behind a building.
Other then that it is a nice picture.

How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

Butcher's Chicago is hardly accurate anyway. All those times that Harry fights monsters in the streets and alleys and no one is around to see? Not going to happen. It makes sense that there would be less trash in this pic.

Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Strictly speaking couldn't he use his staff for the same purpose? I thought that blasting rod thingy was just for quick punches while the staff is for complex mojo.
