Blessedly, blissfully, that night was quiet. Or, at the least, no murder was committed. Perhaps they had indeed caught the culprits in Remigio and Salvatore.
And yet, some still moved around in the dark, engaging in activities which they did not wish the harsh judging light of the winter sun to see.

No one was killed.

That's weird. Either we have a healer still alive or scum chose not to kill? Obviously scum would rather it be 3-1 than 2-1, but now we'll just vote night until it's 3-1, and meanwhile if there's any town roles left it'd be advantageous to town.

Sounds like the killer maybe just didn't get an action in...?

Judgin from this, day will time out b/w 6 and 7 AM. Not good, I'll deffo still be sleeping

About half an hour after writing this I passed out for the night, ^_^

Uhhhh...

<.<

yes, as in, "shit, can't believe I didn't vote", lol.

it was my plan to check in a bit later (around midnight my time), and probably vote Ghennan. But my body finally succumbed to carried-over 3-day sleep deprivation (I got very little sleep Sun-mon, and haven't made it up yet, going to bed late each consequent night. Untill yesterday (WED), when i ended up passing out round 10:30 PM, which is 3 hours earlier than usual)

Sure. Unless it's a slip...

Well that's neat, there's still a game...

Which would suggest that all that fun spec about partners you and Jalan engaged in is pretty worthless, if we only had one killer....

IMO, it's very unlikely the game had a solo killer from the beginning, so I think Togg or MO must've been the other half of a pair. Unfortunately, Togg posted nothing and MO was whacky bananas so this doesn't really help much.

which means out of the 3 suspects remaining, each one of us that's inno must pick who they like the least, looking essentially for someone who'd have played as solo killer, b/c if you are correct, teh killer would've been left on his lonesome by the end of Day 2 at the latest.

Yes, pretty much.

And everyone should have a second choice in case their first choice of most scummy is NK'd.

Probably not gonna be around so much today, got work for tomorrow that needs done.

It's possible we started with killer and symp, not that this makes much difference to how we play it from assuming a modkilled player was scum.

Partner cases for today, as pointed out, are out the window (I would defend their use yesterday on the basis that we should be playing WCS). It's more down to individual scumminess, though someone being symped heavily does still contribute to this to some extent, it's a question of how much weight t put on it.

On a speculative note, if it's killer and symp it's possible that the Sean Connery fellow from the start is the killer, game flavour wise. Not that this helps us or anything.

I don't get the Sean Connery reference.

Anyways, we've got time now to discuss thoughts on other players and try and get more of a consensus with 3 town than with 2 tomorrow. Let's try and make the most of it.

Fanderay is really pinging my gut with that potential slip. Trake, Ghennan, what do you think of the idea?

I can't say I see much merit in this suggestion. The first time I read it I assumed it meant he was annoyed with himself for not voting, rather than not getting an action in. It could easily have been either, but Fanderay has made a point of voting every day up until this one.

I suspect the Sean Connery reference is about the Master William character in the first scene. The one who pronounces all his 's' sounds as 'sh'.

oh, an if we lynch today, an NK will leave it 1 v 1, which is a town loss. There's only 4 of us left

Just to let you guys know, I will be out and at the cinema from around 4 hours before timeout - not sure what time will return, so if nothing happens in the next five hours you may have to wait quite a while for any resolution.

Obviously we are going to vote night today, but right now we can discuss tomorrow's lynch with 75% town instead of only discussing it tomorrow with 67% town, so it's better to get discussion in today, even though we won't vote on the results until tomorrow.

Why so dismissive? I would have thought you'd have put in at least some attempt at a rational defense instead of just shrugging it away, given how close we are to the certain end of the game.

Because I already said why I said what I said? what other "explanation" do you expect me to give?

Jalan, you're trying to turn this into another comma-gate. which is scummy as fuck, because you're making something out of nothing. And you're pushing it on D-day...I say you're trying too hard.

we lynch: 3 left

scum kills: 2 left ONE Scum.
come morning, scum win.

True, but I had a proper sign-off post and put a vote down because I would be asleep still at time-out. Clearly I was thinking about time-out, so if I was scum it'd be pretty incongruous for me to think about putting a vote down because I'll miss time-out and not think to also put a NK target down at the same time.

No, I'm trying to turn this into another "there were FOUR NIGHTS" (sort of) from whatever game that was from (I forget). Scum slips on D-Day are not unheard of. Besides, I'm not trying to force this down anyone's throat, I just don't want it to be casually dismissed either because to me it's a big deal.

Meh, seems a bit of a stretch, relies on scum not putting in a provisional etc etc.

Also Fanderay your D-day calculation assumes we lynch today, while Jalan is assuming we don't.
