When exiting the Azath house in Darujhistan the Master of the Deck is accosted by a beggar asking for coins,
who then goes on to mention a stash of lost/misplaced coins in the nearby Tahlyn mountains.
Now I don't remember this scene from reading the first 2 times, but this time around, something he says made me get it.
Quote
"By the way, you probably shouldn't linger overlong at this particular gate. The House does not welcome strangers."
The old man seemed to shrink in on himself. His head twisted to one side. "No," he muttered from beneath his ragged hood, "not this House." Then he cackled softly. "But I know one that does..."
Is this the artisan who Picker and Blend spot in the mountains, and confiscate the Treach/Trake torcs, who then becomes both cripple and servant to the Fallen one?
If so, I liked that little cryptic remark flung at the master of the deck about Houses.
