So, thoughts from what I can make out of the Day start - differently to what I thought, Mud Street invests everywhere, including Wilderness. Only an issue for teams that are pursuing an investment win - 2/5 can do this I think still? Uni can't any more so I'm not too worried about them holding Mud Street. No more locations have been blown up which I like and no Longhorn have died since Wallaces exploded. Cast is somehow demonstrating being both insane, elected and investing so assuming we can correlate his 5, 5, 5, 5 investment to the invester who has been missing for a Day or two, we know his faction is one of the two currently in the lead. I suggest a Cast lynch be desirable. Although last case I made was on Fanderay, who unexpectedly did actually die, I suggest we take a good look at todays Mayor/Judge chain before we comet. I still want to hear from the D's and M's if they have a Uni or an alternative case to put forward.

I have absolutely no clue as to what is going on with Cast. However, if he is on his own team like the investment update suggests, is it better to ignore him and select for lynch those whi have a better chance of being Aces or Uni. At the same time, however, i don't like the feeling of leaving a loose cannon around - memories of the serial killer in 100 still hurt too much.

So, on the one hand, maybe third day's the charm for getting rid of insane players through a lynch.

On the other hand, I don't trust Barghast. He clearly knew more about this "Cast is insane/not insane" fiasco than he's trying to let on now.

in addition, he's got a decent bunch of EXP right now.

5.5.5.5 point to either Card Shark or Student of Technology. If Cast is insane, as PS tends to suggest, it's best to leave him alone for now. If Barghast is actually linked to him and felt he had a vested interest in keeping him alive, it makes him likely to be Uni or Aces.

thus, atm, I'm inclined to lynch Barghast, if I'm made Judge.

I don't think it works that way, once you hit insanity I would think you are stuck as insane for the rest of the game.

But I could be wrong. AFAIR, the OP doesn't exactly specify one way or another.

I will be helpful here, as I shared this with Liosan and he maybe passed it on.

The underlying mechanic is that if a player's Sanity is restored to above 0 by another player, he returns to the team he was a member of before he went gaga.

The player himself cannot restore his own sanity, however.

Full disclosure: I had a friendship with Cast. He rolled over onto his back, wiggled his paws in the air and looked pathetic and unharmful. I took advantage of all I learned of him to see someone I wanted pressured really put under pressure. I knew My case on Fanderay was built on my genuine belief that seeing him under pressure would be better for us all and show us some links to the rest of what I thought was Uni or Aces. Instead, Fanderay died, proving Cast to be something special - someone who is both insane and able to be elected without suiciding. Now I'm actually worried about him.

Oh, and lynch Honest Barghast, the only one who has played true in elections? Cast claimed no Judge choice after all.

That sounds... complex. I could see it being in the game, but it just doesn't have the right feel to me.

Could it be that Cast was just not insane during the day yesterday, but then went insane (again?) at night and then invested?
