Yes it is. But there's very little opportunity to really get on and organise stuff. Every time I log in, there's 15+ conversations and I can either answer all, or answer half and post them to SH. The result is that there's nothing in SH and that resolving takes ages.

Dead thread is dead.
Oh, and this double cross by Jalan puts him as a lynch candidate, of course. I'm squinting at Gnaw as well. I like that he owned up....but it makes me nervous that he owned up. Paranoia makes me wonder because it could be he is part of the trickery. I mean, why him?
[1]
I was going to keep this to myself but as weekend has had no discussion it may share some information on the likely mechanic; Grasp was my submitted Judge choice. My supposition is that the ability used swapped the lynch choice of the winner and the final place in the elections Judge choices. This may or may not be accurate - the changing to Grasp fits my theory, however it could be that the person who affected the election also chose to put it out to Grasp themselves. This does seem to be slightly more likely, choice in the new recipient seems better suited to team play than swapping to whoever is in lasts position. This does also present another reason for us to have a second, smaller election train in progress every day - were there not a second train and third likely it would have defaulted to no lynch, leaving us deeper in trouble.
If it is Cast is the obvious choice especially with his ominous threat to whoever was the last person to vote in the election
(2)
However, given that Cast thought he was dead, why make the threat? He could have kept quiet, gone down without attracting attention and emerged as a miracle survivor, like Liosan and gone on to take his revenge in person. All he's done here is set people wondering if his threat was based on the knowledge he'd still be around. In which case Grasps change of lynch submissions once the clear Mayor/Judge leader took the lead could potentially have screwed him over still.
That's it for my weekend thoughts, back on Monday

Ok, taking a step back from my gut reaction,
I agree Bargy that this could be a set up for Jalan, and even potentially for Grasp. I don't see Jalan being this fucking stupid.

Amy took a sip from her cognac, and smiled at the man opposite her. She had a Full House, and from the creases in the corner of his mouth and the way he moved his cigar, he was patently unsure whether he should go or fold. Three of a kind, or some such combination. Maybe a Street.
Suddenly, there was a commotion outside. "Hang 'em, hang 'em high!" It seemed that after days and days of haggling, a Mayor and Judge were finally appointed. Not her business - she was here for leisure and for keeping an eye on the interests of the South. So far, there was no advancement but then, there were no interests to begin with.
Her eyes shot to the door as it opened, then back to her cards. Only a bunch of townsfolk, coming to celebrate the Mayor's election. Her expression changed into shock, then curiosity, then focus as a man pointed at her. "She's a southerner, sir, an' active. Saw her in Dodge, slingin' some cards around and dodgin' them bullets of the Northern soldiers there like they was paper balls. She a witch, I tell yous!"
Well, he WAS speaking the truth. So she did what all sane people do: don't be a Hero, make your getaway. She charged her Full House, slung it into the crowd, and made her escape. One, the three of diamonds, got stuck in her opponent's moustache. She heard the screams as his face caught fire, but by then, she was already mounted and making her getaway.
Jalan is elected Mayor.
His choice for Judge is Grasp.
Grasp lynches Lock, Ultama and Bek Ohkan.
Lock was Amy LaBelle, the Cardslinger of the Southern Faction.
Ultama was the Hexslinger, of the LaRua Faction.
Bek Okhan was the Service Conductor, of the Corporate Cult Faction.
I will now go and resolve day over the next couple of hours. It is officially weekend now.

Just beautiful. B.E.A.U tiful!
I had nothing against those players. Ultama was quiet, Bek was friendly to everyone, dirty little information gatherer though so its good that "mr friendship" is no longer making me jealous with all those conversations. Lock was a surprise though. So we lost one from each faction other than the Aces. Interesting!

I do not want to be anyone's friend. I do not want to be Judge or Mayor. Do you Nimander? Who would be your choice of Judge? Who would you like to see lynched?

Not sure yet, we've been away for several days and I'd prefer to see how things start playing out from here.

Okay, Day start investment summary:
Mud Street
Aces invested 2, 2, 3, 2 - could be Bank Robber or Card Shark
Judge Wallace's Office - Cult invested 0, 0, 3 0 - Iron Worker1
Dead Dane's Deed - South invested 4, 2, 0 6 - Confederate Captain or Texas Ranger
Fleece Spring - Cult invested 9, 6, 6, 0 - no single role capable of this, only combinations that work are Iron Worker with Locomindhive or Acquisition Agent2
Outlaw's Refuge - Aces invested 4, 2, 1, 6 - Given Cattle Thief still demonstrably active at Outlaws I'm going to go out on a limb and say it was the CT with some cheating or the Bank Robber joined the party.
1Iron Worker, or another role used Cheat [2]
2Iron Worker not being present requires use of Cheat [4] to get sufficient Hearts invested, more than Locomindhive possesses (2) and all that Agent has (4) - for this reason I think we have a Cult Hero present and investing.
