Neat drawing. Like to see where you take it.

The face could use a bit more shadow (or perhaps smoke), to take the 'old man' look back a notch.

Hand is appropriately twisted and i like how you did the 'seeds into the fire' scene.

I like the hints at what is behind him in the tent.

The spacing is a little confusing... his head appears to be outside the tent, his shoulder seems to be in it but his hand is further forward.... some shadow or smoke may take care of that too.

Thanks for the advice, sometimes all that is needed is a fresh pair of eyes.

To be quite honest I'm surprised that this poignant scene has not been recreated more often.

In my mind the crippled God is the toughest of all malaz characters to portray. He is a God of imperfection. Broken but holy in his brokenness. I have never really sat down and attempted to depict him because my own ability is far off from what I imagine him to be.

I am really pleased to see someone attempt this scene and quite successfully. You're like a Neil Armstrong of the Malazan art community, kudos to you.

Let me start by saying I'm a huge fan of all the stuff you artists make. I often watch the slideshow on the portal site just to enjoy all of it. (the one with the KCNR steering a Skykeep remains my favourite still though ;) )

I just finished my 2nd reread of tCG, so I have the part where Kaminsod manifests himself physically, thanks to the Great Ravens and the KCC assassin. Has anybody here considered trying him in that scene? Incoming ravens would make awesome background stuff...

If only I had any talent, I'd try it, but I doubt you guys are waiting for sticky art...

Keep it up!

Good start. Needs more cowbell. I mean chains. And maybe cowbell.

On another note, I always pictured him a little more... decrepit. Almost like a leper.
