In the half hour period that I had to post this morning we had several PS updates and then he disappeared leaving behind an incorrect vote count. This being AFTER 3 people have pointed out that the previous count was also incorrect. Thus we could only assume PS was telling us the count was correct and our votes no longer affected Rashan. So we tried switching to D'riss, another viable candidate at the time, to see if he'd count those votes. By the time PS came back I was at work and there weren't enough people to lynch without Rashan's vote, so he was more or less ruled out as an option. Now, do we need to repeat anything, or do you get it now?

I am sorry did you not see me go over the entire train and posts for yesterday. I stand by my statements. The fact of the matter is you switched votes. You did not say why. You switched to Driss. You did not say hey PS you didn't count my vote on Rashan and then vote again for him. Which is what usually happens when PS misses a vote. You instead along with Galain switched your votes to Driss thereby completely killing the train. Now you can say that it was PS fault. But in the end you switched the votes and didn't revote for Rashan or wait for PS to fully awake and figure out the correct vote count. So do you get it now.

You treat the entire situation from a hindsight perspective. There was no hindsight at the time, there was a distinct lack of information and a crucial lack of minutes. All we knew was PS put up 3 identical updates even after numerous votes. There are no other ways to say it. I'm not going to try and explain this to you anymore. I just don't have the time, not the interest in coaching a 2nd retard through their day.

No please coach me on how the exact facts that I laid out earlier are not what they are. Please kind sir tell me using quotes from the conversation (as those are facts) the conversation that you and Galain had when you decided that since PS wasn't posting your votes correctly you would switch and go for Driss. I ask because I do not see that conversation at all. What I see instead is PS not posting correct vote counts then people switching. No conversation about what is going on at all. No asking if it is some kind of mechanic or what the case on Driss is just switching votes.

As for treating the entire situation from a hindsight perspective that is what happens in mafia. If you remember I thought that it was pretty obvious when I first got on and voted for Rashan then. I ended up hammering Driss to get the lynch and not let the extended day time out.

There is also the fact that after the mod extended the day and said that they messed up nobody switched back to Rashan. Please feel free to correct me with Quotes and facts (votes and vote counts) if any of this is in error.

The failed Rashan lynch and switch to Driss is the most suspicious thing to happen all game. Even taking PS vote counts into account as town we would completely fail and might as well roll over now if that lynch is not dissected more. Questions asked and pressure put on those who try to toss off bullshit answers.

well i missed out on a lot there, a few things stuck out to me as odd.

The way I see it, when PS made his mistake everyone was panicing thinking we were running out of time. When theres less than 1-2 hours left on the clock, and you need a lot of votes to get a lynch, then you don't try and figure out a mechanic, you try and find a viable target.

it looked like hanas tried to get everyone back to voting rashan, which coincidently, would of saved kalse, and D'riss, who are both town, but did it in a way that makes me want to vote him...

Shit. I still need to read the last couple pages, but I see I've gathered 3 votes for not participating enough. And all I can really say is that I don't blame you. I don't really have an excuse, except I've been supremely busy, but I'm also the one in past games who've said that it doesn't take that much time to get a few posts in each day. So basically, I don't really know what to say. I am free for the weekend though, and was looking forward to being able to play more, and next week isn't nearly as busy as this week was. But I can't say it's anyone else's fault but my own for lack of helping enough so far. I can't even claim I have an important enough role worth saving, but I have been doing my small part in things. If you read the thread you actually can tell that everyone had enough reason to suspect something up with the votes, although I do believe this was some of the strangest mafia I've seen lately. And with PS giving more time, it justifies his mistake. Rashan however, you did claim to know Alkend was town, and none of that 'lawyered' crap makes sense. In fact, there seems to be an awful lot of players who not only know other town players(which is normal in faction games to know one at least), but with it being the person being nearly lynched each time, it's looking rather odd.
