Not a knock on the authors, I just find it humorous that there will clearly be no ending unless they just wing it.

XD I was thinking the same thing as soon as this thread went up..... also.... there are, ahem, better fantasy series one could throw money at to make into a tv show. Not to dump all over rothfuss but.... well it's two books in (one very large) and so far he's killed no kings and apart from banging some fairy nymph for half a book not managed to get the girl.... ..... So is this actually going to be a trilogy that takes another 5 years for the last book to come out or is he going to do a Martin and keep changing his mind?

I don't know about pages; I listened to it on audio, and fell asleep a couple of times during the narration. :-D Kvothe's antics irritated me so much I didn't bother to skip back to what I'd missed.
And yes, the meaning of the title eludes me also! Maybe a wise man fears he doesn't get to bed enough dragoncows sex ninjas?

Agreed though, there are so many other series out there that would make for much better screen adaptations.
