Kalam and Kallor.
Two men from opposite ends of the Good/Bad spectrum.
Both written about extensively, and considered part of the list of most important characters in the series, imo.

Could Kalam catch Kallor unawares, or would Kallor's swordsmanship be too much for our beloved hero-

Nobody catches Kallor unaware.
Also, Kallor kills dragons. Plural.

As good as Kalam is, this one goes to Kallor. Who is then killed by Wolverine, but i digress...

I suppose a Kallor win may be incoming, as he is hundreds of thousands of years old, but Kalam is a BridgeBurner, forged by the holy fires of the desert Rakuru, and thus I'd hoped his chances against such a foe would have been greater than they now appear.

Then again, Kallor IS a warrior use to going head to head with many extremely powerful enemies, whereas Kalam is more prone to doing what he does best - sneaking up and flat-lining his opponents, and/or playing the assist role when teaming up with Quick Ben.

Still, even if we know a certain candidate is going to win the Presidency, we still need the election to show it, especially to those who believed, and voted, the other way.

I dunno.....Whiskeyjack, never lauded for his swordsmanship, would have bested Kallor if it weren't for that Hood damned knee. Kalam's ability to slow his opponents down would send the High King crying to CG.

Well Kalam Mekhar is already buried beneath the remains of a dramatic windswept tower, covered in blood and shit, so I guess Kallor gets a bye on this one. Not that he would need it....

Kallor kills Kalam.

Then Kalam ascends, comes back, backhands Kallor in the face and then laughs at the "high king" while the latter cries like a little baby.
Laseen did nothing wrong.

Kallor. Just ask Orfantal.

In my mind if we agree that Kallor can beat Skinner then Kallor can beat everyone Skinner could. There is no way Kalam would face Skinner so it goes

Kallor > Spinnock > Skinner > Kalam > The entire Claw > Cabbage > Orfantal.

Whiskeyjack was noted as being able to spar with Dassem and hold him off for a while. And the only reason he would have bested Kallor is because Kallor's heel caught when he leapt back for space (ie. luck)

Kalam doesn't slow his opponents down, rather he just sees them that way and reacts faster.

Even then we don't know whether the CG's power would have protected Kallor from a fatal stab and let him nail WJ anyways.
