I need this pairing to finalize a small section of the Hierarchy.

Trull defeated Brys Beddict, Spinnock, etc...
Mok defeated Kallor, Brys, etc.....

As of now, there's a gap between Mok and Trull that needs to be determined to close this section off.

So is it Mok over Trull?
Trull over Mok?
Or are these two close enough to be on the same tier?

Both have already defeated many of the other top warriors in the series. So how do these two undefeated champions compare-

Mok got whacked on the back of the head by a Soletaken Panther Bonecaster.
Trull got stabbed in the back by an ordinary human.

Mok - broken by his experiences.
Trull - dead.

Mok is about on the same level as Tool, but I'm not sure comparing Tool and Trull is any easier.

Trull did hold back Icarium at one point, though, and that's supposed to be next to impossible.

Wow, looking at the results this is way closer than I would have thought. Seggy 3 vs Trull and his spear? I'm taking Mok every day of the week here. Trull, while very talented, never gave me the impression of being a truely elite fighter, like Mok does.

I am bored, it's raining, so Im gonna turn my Nerdiness way up on this, Death-battle style:

Trull is one of the most underplayed weapon-users in the books. To be fair holding Back Icarium is something only a select few have managed to do. That's a ton of history worth of people, suffice to say his skills with a spear are up there with the best. I must stress this point though. Just because you can beat or even trade strokes with someone does not make you their equal in skill. Skill-sets are varied and often incomparable.Asking Mok to hold off Icarium would be a taller order than asking Trull to chop off the head of a K'chain, even if it would be just as impossible. The two excel at different things, the opponents they faced offered different types of danger.

TRULL:

Trull makes his spears range super-effective defensively. He can switch use of the spear to use as a stave and can land a variety of sweeping, thrusting and counter blows once he sets his ground. The biggest advantage Trull possesses would be his range. The speed of trulls spear is hard to estimate but it must be lightening fast to handle Icariums blurring sword attacks. Trull faced an entire pack of the Jheck sp.??? on his own, in the mind numbing cold, in a running battle covering a huge distance. He has stamina and experience, he seems to adjust well to both beast and human opponents. His mental state however is his weakness. Trull slides the curve pretty fast, depression then joy then fear then resolve, all within the space of a chapter. I think this may also mean he has a fluctuating handle on his degree of focus? Trull steps up well but doesn't operate at full efficiency all the time. I have no idea how long The Edur live, no idea as to trulls actual age. I do assume he has lived MUCH longer than Mok, so perhaps some extra credit to his experience even if Mok has faced more actual opponents.

On the other hand we have Mok who has a dual sword-fighting style. This requires Mok to be adapt at dashing in and out of close range, a much more physically demanding weapon choice, riskier and far more lethal for all parties involved. Rell is the only Seguleh we have observed throwing up a proper "defense". It required tons of footwork and range estimation to dodge and roll a super fast, centuries old, First Hero at "half" its full potential, Thats still pretty damn quick. If Mok is a senior to Rell (I was never sure where Rell slotted in amidst the Agatii) we can assume Mok can dodge and weave even better than this. I think the Seguleh fighting style requires a ton of essential movements and Mok near perfected it. Mok has a beast load of stamina, fighting armies chock full of irregulars like the K'chain kell hunters. The physical demands of such a feat are staggering. if an army consisted of fifty thousand men. Split evenly between Envy, Tool, senu and therule, the hounds and Mok, that still gives Mok atleast eight thousand kills to his name, I'd count every Kell he killed twice for good measure, that is an enormous amount of skill, focus and staying power, Envy assisted or not.

If these were DS characters they'd have Dex and vitality stats way up, armor levels down with limited comparable strength difference. So here how it would probably play out:

The smartest fighter should win, so First one to land a critical strike is the victor. Both warriors would face-down each other in open challenge, Mok would charge first since that's how segulehs do. Trull would strike for Moks lower abdomen, a safe thrust to the center of moks gravity, Trulls wisdom comes to play here, forcing mok to respond. Mok would Parry the shit out of the spear setting Trull into a super fast spinning counter sweep forcing mok into a roll out of harms way. Trull would follow Moks footwork and shoulder flow, helping him read most of Moks attacks as Mok surges forward with both blades seeking throat, belly or thigh. Mok would attack constantly, intercepting the spear with one blade, countering with the other. This would put Trull on the backstep. Trull may be patient enough to weather the assault, his stamina is legendary and his readiness for the fight keep his focus up. If he keeps to a sure footed defense he'd use less energy than Mok. Moks stamina however is ridiculous, fighting armies and charging across a continent proves that. Eventually Trull would be worn down. Mok would notice slower movements in a heartbeat. Trull might eentually lower his gaurd due to mental fatigue, perhaps a hopeful thrust? Perhaps a false opening took him in? We know the seguleh masters are experts in misleading opponents. Especially opponents able to follow their movements. Mok would take the chance to dart forward at an impossible angle due to his superior physical agility(probably spin stepping an over extended thrust, slashing at trulls footwork, or biting at an extended wrist). His blade would slice an artery or nick a tendon thanks to Seguleh anatomy-fu...and that's the fight really. If you think about it Its very unlikely Mok would kill Trull. a lame arm or leg would be enough of a win for the third.

Tl;dr

Had Trull and Mok faced each other I think Moks physical balance, stamina and awareness would outweigh Trulls, even if their weapon skills are, in my opinion, close to even. Mok is a blazing genius at sword-play whilst Trull is a sturdy talent with long years of experience buffing up his skills. Take two talented fighters into a cage match and the win usually falls to physical precision and stamina. Mok trumps Trull on both.
