Luck had a good game with around 28 points. He had like 180 yards passing with 2 TDs, and 30 yards rushing with a TD.

There was a little fighting early with Clay Matthews pushing, and some SF players pushing back. Penalties offset, and I don't remember seeing anything else. There was an earlier game where a player got kicked out for throwing a punch though. I forget who that was.

Jesus....I picked like shit this week. My picks were HORRIBLE.

I pulled Steve Smith last second, thinking Seattle Def would shut him down, and put in James Jones, thinking Aaron Rodgers would pass for 5 TDs, and Smith gets 11.1 pts/Jones gets ZERO. I pulled Jermichael Finley from TE to give Zach Studfield the slot, and Studfield gets 0 points and Finley gets 11.6. THEN, with figuring Rodgers for those 5 pass TDs, put Finley in Flex, only to pull him and put in Mark Ingram who stole goal line touches preseason. Ingram gets 1.1

Starting RBs are Jamal Charles, who did get 16 points but left in 3Q with quad injury, and Lamar Miller the other, who scored 1 freaking point. Four starters netted me total of 2.1 points. New Egland defense touted as best matchup against rookie Buffalo QB get 5 points.

Only decent pick was Matt Ryan and Jamal Charles. Dez Bryant still to play, but won't matter.

Also, KL you did a good job with your picks. I would have started Lacy, though instead of Thomas. Not that it was needed. Lacy was one of your starting RB picks. He should continue to do at least somewhat decent.

This takes the wind out of my sails. I sucked so bad last year that I wanted to at least improve there. But this first game was worse than last year first game, which was also super horrible.

How could Jones and Sudfield get ZERO points. Sooooo bad.

Welp I was still in it until Victor Cruz hung a 30 burger on me. I have doubts I'll get 60 pts from two WRs and a TE.

Scoring is pretty insane this week. I don't think I saw many 20+ receiver scores last year, now there's several. I also think that Vereen + DeMarco Murray have already done better than my Chris Johnson/LeShoure + McFadden tandem did for the whole of last year. Didn't see the entire Packers game, but it seemed to me that Green Bay at the least found a way to disarm Kaepernick's running (almost) down, will be interesting to see if that trend continues (then again, Luck did have a rushing TD).

On the plus side, Sudfeld is easily replaced. Denver's Julius Thomas is already in your team, I see, and he has some pretty good matchups coming up if he stays fit, plus you have Finley and he reportedly has a rep with Rodgers now after working out off-field. James Jones is worth hanging on to, but I think it's mostly feast or famine with him as he is TD dependant for his scores, like Torrey Smith is for Baltimore.

How did D wilson get minus points? That has got to blow, that Match up is so close!

Orange and Black need a monster of a game from Foster!

My team is a shock, I didn't think I'd get that many points!

Fumbled twice, both turned over to Dallas, I believe.

Thats because my boy Ridley caughed up the rock twice, so the angry hoodie sat his ass and Vereen got all the carries instead of the RBBC. And of course we will never know if Vereen is now 'the guy' and Ridley is just a change of pace back until a couple games go by and we see what happens, so it isn't as if I can drop Ridley like a bad habit.

I started David Wilson in another league. Fucker coughed up the ball twice and only had 19 yards before he was sat for the rest of the game.

You hear the sound byte of Coughlin after the game? He was asked if Wilson was still his starting RB and he said he can't answer that right now.

I didn't but that doesn't surprise me. Of course there was next to no passing game when they had wilson in there so it wasn't all his fault. As soon as Manning started to throw the ball down the field with precision the holes opened up on the line. The first fumble he was stood up and stripped. I forsee RB by committee in the future for him at best. At least until he shows that he can hold on to the rock and get down.

Anybody deep enough at WR that they could trade one good WR for something like a middle WR(James Jones or Steve smith, plus a TE if you need one(Zach studfield or jermichael Finley) and a starting RB(Bilial Powell). He may be on a shit team, and not close to one of the best RBs, but he is starting, and if you're short in that slot, better than nothing.

So a medium WR to replace the Good WR, and tossing in good TE and RB starter.

Would even consider trading Julius Thomas if the WR in question was tip top.

Doubt anyone is in this boat, but can't hurt to ask.

You got burned by over thinking. It happens. Especially early in the season. It doesn't mean that you don't have a talented team. The Giants made a point of not letting Dez beat them this game. He was doubled the entire game. So Romo just threw underneath. Sucks this game for you, but in the long run is probably pretty good. Because now teams will know that they can't afford to double Dez, that Romo will look off of him and throw it to Witten and Austin. Which will mean that in up coming games Dez will get less doubles and Romo will be able to go deep.

James Jones is the third or 4th target on a talented roster. He is going to be feast or famine WR. Meanwhile Steve Smith is either the first or second target on a thin roster. One is going to get a lot more looks then the other.

Then we have your TE. It is obvious that Peyton has confidence in his TE and Rodgers is very comfortable with Finley. Meanwhile Brady has a whole bunch of new receivers and TE. It is easy for the new TE to get lost in the mix.

Stop over thinking your team and start the best fucking players in your roster.

Yeah my team sucks. Even if Foster puts up thirty points himself I'm toast as I'd be lucky to get 10 points from Gates. Tapper's got me beat hands down as he has players still available tonight. Fucking Newton. I should have realized he is a slow starter and facing Seatlle D wouldn't make things easy for him.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.
