Round Two: Second Battle:
Karsa vs. Urko
I know that using 'Karsa' as my username makes me biased, but I believe this would be a great matchup, and it could go either way. But what I think isn't what's important, it's what everyone thinks.
Let's see who wins based on public opinion.
Choose who you think would win if these two were to go head to head as many times as needed for you to determine the fighter that would rank highest on a scale of 'power' in the Malazan World. The overall goal of the Democratic Ranking system isn't necessarily who beats who, but who is viewed as more powerful, although these two aspects usually go hand in hand. So we are using theoretic battles and popular opinion to score our characters on a relative power scale. Therefore we may see each character having to pair up multiple times with many different opponents.
Give us your input on this battle if it's something that interests you.

Didn't Urko already deck Karsa? Or was that Cartheron that did?
Laseen did nothing wrong.

Urko knocked his ass out, but there are a few things to consider:
1) Karsa was still an arrogant, ignorant douche at that point. Of course, he's still incredibly arrogant. Post-TCG Karsa wouldn't have approached Urko in such a manner, however.
2) Karsa didn't have his sword at that point. Not that it would have been much help against a fist, but even so.
3) In the time since Karsa was punched, it's quite possible that he has begun to (or already) ascended.

True. "Who would win" somewhat depends on what point in Karsa's development we're talking about.
Even TCG Karsa I think would have a bit of a difficult fight with Urko Crust, though. He might win, but I think it would be about 50/50.

Oh dear Lord!!!!
Can they do a 3 stages of hell match? Boxing/Wrestling/Weapons
Cos no one wins in a boxing match with the Urk... I'd love to see a good bit of throwing around from them two, and Karsa would win all out in weapons due to reach and being generally just rediculous
But come on, I cant vote on this one lol

Karsa was thinner after months of slavery and his sword wasnt drawn at the time when Urko hit him, although still it seems he would win in a fist fight pretty easy... but with both o them at full strength it's anyones game, would love to see it especially if it's weapons

You ever see that ludicrous, impossible move where someone swings a sword at someone and they stop the swing by clapping both hands on the flats of the blade? And then it just becomes a battle of strength, like an arm wrestling match. Just patently ridiculous stuff.
Well, Urko can do it no problem.
