Trull's Shorning

To me it seemed logical that the Edur, after making their empire, went on using the fragments to search for kin and throne. We saw their enterprises before, engaging endless lists of formidable adversaries, tireless searching with their ships.

Trull went back, as he said to try to save Rhulad. He made, so to say, a stand, but obviously the other Edur were already tired of his laments and attitude, and during lingering in Emurlahn he certainly went to far (who wants to hear for the hundreth of times this sort of tirade) and choose to take his scalp and bind him for drowning.

Quite understandable, dont you think?

So... someone disagrees with you, you shun him and try to kill him? Yeah, I understand that? :D Methinks Trull will have some serious dilemmas ahead of him. ie when Rhulad comes himself to try and claim the throne, will Trull fight?

Aye but Trull has got a fairly hefty army behind him, don't forget. The T'lan Imass will do loads of damage even before Panek and Apt get there...

i think it'd be more likely that Fear would find scabby and he'd go all dragon like and kick his ass although he has no body so he'd have to in habit somebody's (Fear? Trull?)

Ah but do you think Scabby is going to be the same? Do you think he will support what is going on with the Edur, or do you think he will turn all dragon like and kick Rhulads 4$$ and then purge the CG from his hold over the Edur. Though in the process he will probably destroy Shadowthrone... Then they won't go after the 1st throne cos I don't reckon Scabby will be after controlling the Imass, cos once he is back, Rake and Ruin will team up and Kurald Galain Scabbys 4$$!!!!

woah there simeon...hehe...perhaps not taking things to their logical conclusion...i agree that if scabandari is freed he is likely to reassert his claim to leadership over the Edur, this will involve the kicking of certain god...CG...and the removal of Rhulad...
However i don't really see Shadowthrone's position in any trouble...bith shadow and true shadow can exist, much like both Galain and Rashan can coexist
Also i get the feeling that both Ruin and Rake are both pretty clear sighted fellows, and unlikely to hold much of a grudge against Scabs, unless of course he himself leads the edur on a rampage...where we indeed may see some...uhmm..."Pwnage"

unless you were just messing about tiste and you can ignore this post

I wasn't really messing about - Shadowthrone holds the Shadow throne right? Which means he holds the place that Scabby should rightly be. He also owns the Hounds of Shadow. HOC clearly shows us that the Hounds remember their previous masters, and I reckon Scabandri may want them back. Shadowthrone is, essentially, someone in a place that Scabandri, should he wake up, will definitely want to be. To hold high house shadow would be a good base to start looking for and collecting the various fragments of Kurald Emurlahn...

Shadowthrone doesn't sit on the Throne of Shadow. He control Rashan a fragment of KE. Thats it. The Throne of Shadow used to be guarded by the Andii and now iirc Shadow demons.

Not rashan, meanas. But you're right in that he hasn't occupied the throne of shadow yet.

Btw, if Trull gets in a serious scrap he can always summon Lilac. A demon at your side can't hurt your chances.

I wonder why he is not sat on it, if he has access to it?

Besides, he only recently gained access to it.

As Crool pointed out, Kel and Dancer didn't gain access to the Throne of Shadow until House of Chains. They still don't know all the true powers of Meanas and Shadow it self, as is made clear in HoC when Dancer goes "I always wondered why the hounds never ran in a straight line", he can't even see much of the relam he commands.
2nd planting his ass onto the throne won't really help as the Edur have returned:D
3rd I suspect they have much greater plans than just control over KE.

edit: Yes...i'm a moron. Meanas not Rashan...argh!

as i said in another thread...the shadows aurrounding the thone, the ones that spoke to paran...perhaps that shows that the throne is not empty, whose shadow threads through the thone...?

Scabandri? Who knows... The shadows could just represent the return of the Edur...
