Who said I wasn't scum too? It would be just like me to vote off my fellow scum in order to prove my own 'innocence.'
That would be a classic scum move. Not your style. You would only do that if you where town...
Classic scum move to hammer or near-hammer their ailing partner, true. But to actually make a case on them, follow it through, and do nothing but accuse them, not so much
Still, you may have a valid point
"I think I've made a terrible error of judgement."
I know I'm being pedantic, but shouldn't 99 actually be 98.5, and 100 should therefore be 99?
Numbers are like the time line....
Given any possible opportunity, ICE will fuck those up to?

Unnecessary! If there's one thing you can't blame ICE for, it's the timeline Now, bizarre syntax, overabundance of pronouns, and frustratingly vague dialogue, that's another thing. The timeline though, that was fucked looooong before.

Eh. When I saw the thin potential yesterday for everyone to die in the WoK game, I used the term "wipe". I haven't played wordofwarcrack in 2 expansions at least. In the space of maybe 15 minutes my head went from "wipe" to "wipes were cool sometimes" to "yeah, that was an epic fail" to "I wonder what those guildies are up to" to "I should log in and see if anyone is still around."
That's when I remembered that I spent an afternoon deleting every warcraft related file off of 4 computers, 1 time machine, and several various externals.
I play WotLK on molten.(cause I don't like cata and am not sure about mists)
anyway, during a normal FoS our party was wiped thrice. so we finish the run and it turns out the Tank and party leader is actually geared/talented for PVP dps .man that was a fuckfest.

He enjoys shrimp cocktail.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I really want to say I'm in for game 100, but I'm unavailable 20-26th of March, so I'm only in if it starts after 26th...
Welcome back GG!
The important thing is we want you be aware of the upcoming mafia 100 game. We don't really know how long mafia 99 will take, so now that you've checked in, just keep monitoring the forum at least every couple days, and if it turns out you'll be able to play great! If not, sadness. If it is really close, maybe we can have you be a late-arriving role or something (there are plenty of ways of balancing such a thing).

Lord that avatar is creepy. Ask shin where he found his halloween one and use it; much less disturbing.
As for your question, I have a hypothesis:
Spoiler
The next game is a mini and, as you pointed out, should rightfully be numbered 98.5. D'rek has a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious game planned for following the mini. It would then be numbered 99. However, somebody decided that by naming the mini 99, D'reks supercalifragilisticexpialidocious game could then be numbered 100. And made Superdupercaliragifuckinglisticexpialidocious2. Just a randome possibility out of the many possible explanations.
Now I shall duck and cover while seeking shelter.
Note to the over serious: This is intended to be a joke. If anyone takes offense, I profusely apologize.)
Mafia 99 is a TMDI 1 fundamentals game. That doesn't make it a mini (no numbers cap, for instance). It's a proper hardcore 'this. is. mafia' game through and through.
As Khell says, Mafia 99 is not a mini. It is not altless, the days are not super short, the number of players will not be under 8 (hopefully), etc, so there's no reason it would be classified a mini (TMDI does not make a mini - there have been minis that were more or less TMDI:10s). This was the plan all along. If I had intended the basic game to be a mini, I would've just waited until after the next mafia game to do these two.

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

oh.
Sorry.
I get a little carried away when I see the acronym "wow". can't help myself.
I almost Neg Repped you Starling!!! Then I realised you're lovely, and must have RL at some point.
How could you do such a thing?!?
But yes, uni is taking up all my time right now, and it's only going to get worse
Even as the filthiest of low posters you wouldn't want to miss 100. The game of all games!
I suspect most of the nostalgia coming from this game will be in reference to games played before I joined the noble ranks of Mafiadom
I tried to diversify quite a bit. There are roles from as early as Mafia 31 and as recent as Mafia 95 (which is not to say that there aren't any roles from outside that span of time). There is probably the highest concentration of stuff taken from the 40-70 span, but still plenty from outside it.

It's going to be a riff on D'rek's recent time-travel mini, where days were non-sequential and players could be dead one day but alive another. In Mafia 100, however, instead of time-travel, we have:
Dimension travel. Each day, a new dimension, taking us to an old Mafia game/theme with its own rules and roles. Constantly changing, constantly shifting...who can survive?!
Speaking of survive...
Survivor mafia! I loved that one and I didn't even play!
