Assume he's on a town. I'll go with the 9. To be really effective as a town saboteur he'd have to take out both town factions. So 18. 2 of the independents. 20 players. 60 alts. Out of 84.

I don't think he can do it. Even if you go with 8 per town, that's 54 alts.

Assume scum. Again, he has to take out both teams. 9/3 split means 6 scum + 2 independents. 24 alts. 8/4 split is 30 alts.

Those are achievable.

The math suggests that if Khell is scum, town will win. If he is town, it's a toss up. His town faction is doomed of course, but taking both town factions would be a much larger "achievement".

If he is one of the independents? Hmm. Town/Scum VCs become irrelevant (so far as the saboteur's friendly fire is considered.) Serial killer means Survivor wins. Survivor means Serial Killer wins.

The Jester? I'm not certain how to place him if Khell is one of the 3. Since the jester can co-win with the Survivor, they're tied together.

I think you're missing that I never approached how it would happen. Just doing the math to see if any given placement could feasibly result in a complete wipe due to the Khelloteur's Kurse®.
