Hey People,

After googling malazan book of the fallen i found this forum and decided to join. I just finished reading Midnight Tides and decided to start Night of Knives as some sort of a pause between the main books. MBOTF is my favourite series ever even after only reading 5 books.

My favourite book up till now is Memories of Ice. Besides reading i play warhammer 40k (space marines, eldar), play drums, do judo and jiu-jitsu and i am also a big LOTR geek.

Greets from the netherlands,

Sareth

Actually Esslemont's books are the "main" ones and Erikson's are the diversion.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

It's time to create a Worrywort award for the extreme selfless helpfulness.

Welcome Sareth!
We are the Vord. Prepare to be assimilated. Furycrafting is futile.

Welcome Sareth!

Yeah, in a word, Worrywort lies.

And you picked the right, or generally "accepted" reading order as far as NoK went.

Also, if you ever do reread, you get a much greater appreciation of HoC and MT. I remember thinking that HoC was the weakest when I first read it (which was about 3 years ago, up to book 7), and then I reread start to end last year, and absolutely loved it. Just as an aside.

I'm very new to this forum myself, but it is quite informative and you learn a lot. Just beware spoilers, and things like that.
I don't have time to consider things I have to consider.

kindly schedule your brain scan, DNA sampling and fingerprinting with the registrar and don't forget to bring a blank cheque, generally accepted credit card and recent stool sample to the meeting.
