Everyone says that Icarium is extremely powerful once he gets enraged, but can someone stop him? Are characters like K'rull, Rake, Brood, and the Jaghut Tyrant able to take on Icarium if he gets enraged? Just wondering because we know that Rake, Brood, and Raest are on similar power levels, but we don't get a comparison to Icarium. Thanks. And please don't tell me something if there are spoilers.

There is an explanation as to why nobody has stopped/imprisoned/killed Icarum yet. What that reason is will be explained in a later book.

We do? But then, rafo. 'Power levels' really aren't something that can be compared directly here.

I mean according to different characters' point of view. Like Rake when talking to Baruk said that Caladan Brood is close in power to him and Kallor spoke to Brood telling him that he should kill Rake, so they have to be on somewhat similar power levels. And laseen expected Raest to weaken Rake and from Rake's pov it seemed as if he thought the same. I'm just saying that they seem to be the upper tier of powerful characters and I know that anyone can kill whoever depending on other factors.

the explanation apt refers to is from tCG if i'm not mistaken. looong RAFO :) but its well worth the wait. there are clues seeded throughout the series about icarium.

I could just put it in a spoiler box for you.

It's not really a big spoiler. It isn't even story related per say. It's just a piece of background info that wont be revealed before book 9 or 10.

DON'T LOOK IN HERE IF YOU'RE SUPER FUZZY ABOUT NOT SPOILING ANYTHING IN THE BOOKS!

SERIOUSLY WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?

LOOK AWAY YOU FOOL!

Spoiler

You are taking your time with this by reading two Malazan books a week? B) Won't be very long at that rate at all.
