The finale was ok. I found Carrol's evil master plan of a massacre at the shelter to be fairly lame in concept, but neat in execution.
The Emma/Joshua resolution was predictable.

Money talks, network desperation listens. Even towards the end of the season with some blatantly filler eps, it scored the sort of numbers for a drama that the big networks are desperately trying to generate as their audiences plummet to OD services and the 'net. It also generated good initial buzz that never quite wore off entirely.
That said i'll be stunned if it makes an S3 unless they radically change up the concept along the lines of Hardy replacing Carrol as leader of the killcult. Bacon could totally pull that off, btw.

The Mrs and I finally started watching this. We were hooked on the first ep. We've now burned about halfway through the season and it just gets better and better.
I am worried about how long they can keep the main storyline going before they do something truly eye-rolling. But till then, we're in.

There is a chunk towards the almost end-of-season that felt like mediocre filler at best, but it's a generally strong first season overall.

I'm on the fence... there were parts of S1 i really enjoyed and Bacon was fun to watch but the show really lost focus and momentum in the second half of the season.
Hoping for better. I'll watch in Jan, but this could go either way.

Four eps in a S2 is killing it. Pun intended.
Saw where they were going with Lily but the 'family' revelation was nuts.
The twins and Giselle are sick awesome.
Ryan is a tad more effective and a less whiny without Clare or Little Joe hanging around his neck.
New FBI lady is essentially old FBI lady with less love for Ryan. Even looks like her.
Iceman and Ryan's niece are totally going to hook up. If either of them lives another 20 minutes.

It was totally predictable but the Mommy angle was twisted and awesome.
That's something i like about this show... they'll give you the predictable, but at least half the time throw in that one additional twist you didn't see coming.

Weakest ep of the season by far...

Its Uncanny! and I see it as a mistake. They look, act and sounds so similar I thought the old agent must have somehow survived. I was unsure for the first three episodes before I looked it up. Its mind boggling how similar they are

I never looked into the circumstances of old FBI lady leaving the show, but it was probably bcs then they couldn't bring her back to tape more scenes and wanted to minimize viewer something or other condescending fucking network tv...
